Ky dipped her head and stepped to the side out of the way so he could go in first if he liked.

He entered and gestured for her to sit down somewhere.

Ky started to shut the door, then hesitated. Would that seem threatening? She didn’t want to make him uncomfortable. She settled for closing it most of the way but leaving it cracked, then strode further into the room and hesitated a moment longer. Why wasn’t he just telling her what he wanted?
She hesitantly sat down in one of the chairs that didn’t have one super close to it, though they were all nearby.

Gaius remained standing off to the side of the door. "How are you liking the room?" he asked when she had settled, glancing around. It was quite an old room and was usually reserved for visiting dignitaries, but none were coming in the near future and so he decided to put it to use. Tadaaki had a similar one, as would Aleth.
