"I know she already enjoys reading, and she's fantastic with languages. She also enjoys horses and swordsmanshop," Gaius mused.

(Haha Duolingo the instant I tried to learn Spanish started changing random ass words to Spanish and I have no idea why. It speaks better Spanish than I do haha)

Aashi nodded thoughtfully. “She said she’s good with horses, right? Before she remembered to shrink herself?”

(XD My phone has yet to do that in German.)

"Right." He nodded. "You two could perhaps help out in the stable? I can give some of the stable hands paid leave."

(Erghhh this happened like less than a month in and idk whyyyy I even gave up on learning Spanish and yet it persists haha)(did you see the screen shots from months ago now maybe December of me sleep texting my best friend? There was lots of Spanish in that lol)

“I think that may be good.” Aashi nodded, then hesitated, biting her lip. “Wait, wasn’t she a stable boy before the monster — well, that monster, I guess the first monster — took her? Hmm… wouldn’t want to remind her of that… but… then again, it might remind her of her ho— her childhood? I think she liked horses even when she was very small. I… I don’t know. What do you think is best?”

"Asking her opinion wouldn't do any good. But I think she would enjoy it," Sara mused. "It might get her back go her roots. And it's mostly a hobby to get her out of her own head, right? So it can't be too bad. I say go for it."

“Then let’s do it.” Aashi smiled and nodded. “I enjoy horses as well and I’m sure she could show me much, much more than I know. So it’d be an authentic request for help.”

"I'll see to it space is cleared for you two," Gaius assured her.

“Thank you.” Aashi smiled and dipped her head. Well, that was convenient. Most of the time she had to figure out how make her plans happen after she made them. But here he was — basically the god of this Keep — snapping his fingers and it’s done. She glanced at the children. “I do hope all this nonsense is over now. How long does it usually take a second shake to happen if it’s going to happen?”

"It should have happened by now. But I'm not sure this is a natural earthquake, so it's best to wait."

Aashi cringed and nodded. Were they all going to spend the whole night down here? Gods, that’d be miserable. Especially if Ky and Gaius were going to keep being weird around each other.

"Once Ada is here I'll speak with her about the situation. Perhaps she had a dream."

Aashi nodded. “Ky couldn’t find her; I hope she’s okay.”

His brow furrowed. "She couldn't find her?"
"I'm sure she's alright," Sara assured him. "Where did she look? Do you know?"

“Uh… I think just her bedroom?” Aashi said hesitantly. “I don’t know. Maybe she’s found her now! I just know she wasn’t on the list of people Ky marked as safe when Pratik asked her when we were coming down. But. I don’t think she looked hard.”
