Ky smiled and nodded her thanks to him, stepping inside. “That’s the truth.”
Maybe that’s what her problem was. Maybe if she could unlearn her Aleth-instilled fretfulness, maybe she’d be able to relearn how to have fun. To be a kid again. Even though she wasn’t.
