(What are you thinking? Ky is just going to wander around enthralled for an hour or two, then settle down with a book -- but I can RP it out if you've got some other scene in mind you wanna write on your own and/or we can switch back to Zander and one of your characters) (Pratik and Zander would have shared a fair bit of information with one another, but it would be almost impossible to glean anything useful from it. They'd be using a lot of nicknames that they share for each other -- like, characters I can think of they'd probably mention would be 'Mr. I Can't Get Laid', 'Mr. I Have A Title Now', and 'Mr. No One Wants To Fuck My Son' lol the one that might be interesting to Emery would be 'Baby Zander and the kids' but Emery probably? wouldn't have any idea whatsoever who they were referring to haha. And they'd do a lot of 'right where you left him' and 'where you'd guess he'd be by now' in relation to where they all are, with a few village names sprinkled in)

(I've got nothing in particular planned out for the next couple hours! I was interested to see what Ky might read or how she would interact with the librarians but we can absolutely skip to dinner to get some more action)

Ky wandered around, at first resisting the urge to touch anything, but eventually caving in to the temptation and running her fingers across the spines of the books. She pulled a few particularly interesting-looking books off the shelves, but was extraordinarily careful to put it back exactly where she found it, down to making sure the spine aligned with the rest on the shelf. This was far more impressive to her even than the fact that this place was six stories tall.
Finally, she couldn't resist the urge anymore and climbed one of the ladders to get a better look at the books near the top of this level, stopping at each shelf to gawk at the books nearby on either side of the ladder.

One or two of the librarians watched her, and an elderly woman smiled as she watched Ky peruse the shelves near her.

Ky was singularly focused for a while, but eventually noticed the friendly old woman, and turned towards her with a little smile. “Are you one of the librarians, ma’am?”

"That I am, dear." She gave a small curtsey. "Welcome!"

“Nice to meet you.” Ky gave a shy grin and jumped the rest of the way to the ground. “I’m Ky Ruiarc.” She offered a hand.

The woman shook her hand. "I'm Ingrid, the Head Secondary Diary Organizer. I'm very pleased to meet you, miss."

"Ah, well I'm responsible primarily for overseeing the organization and care of the library's collection of journals and diaries. I'm out here helping and managing the other diary organizers, and I report back to Head Primary Diary Organizer Lioth. We report new findings as well, and read through any new journals or diaries brought to us."

Ky’a smile faltered for a moment, but she forced it back. “Kind of. I’m Gaius’s niece now. I’ll be living here for a while. So just a long visit I guess.”
