(I actually prefer the cold. My body lacks the ability to feel cold, I just have warm and numb - and numb kind of cancels out any chance of being cold. I am seeing a lot more birds I haven’t noticed before - I never realised we had winter migrants - especially a family of about 5 red-headed barbets.
Yes, I have to do a lot. As there is no girls’ team I play for the boys’ team, which is harder because the boys in other teams try to take it to their advantage. Like they try to be rougher and tougher which only ends badly for them when I end up being able to take a harder knock than them. So I have to spend a lot more time training. I’m there at every practice, even unofficial practices. After the every practice I come home and do fitness and practice everything. I’m four years younger than some of those boys and I’m a goalkeeper, which makes it hard as there is always a lot of blame put on goalkeepers.)
