Okay this is in no way related and you're welcome to ignore but my best friend whom I haven't seen in 3 yrs told me that her father passed away due to a heart attack.
What am I supposed to sayyyyyyy?

you say "i'm sorry for your loss" and probably ask if they'd like a hug or something?

offer to make them food/do something for them, perhaps? but i agree with scarlett ^^

I think it's important to just show some empathy by saying you're sorry. You could also offer, if the friend wants to talk, to just listen.

I can't really offer food or a hug... she lives far away. Like not even in the same state.
But I told her that she could talk to me, I'd understand, I'm there for her, she can call me when she wants to talk, etc.

So today I cleaned a lot of my room and the house. It was one of these days where I had to arrange everything somehow new.

That's nice! I've been meaning to do a deep clean of my room, but haven't gotten a chance to yet because of school.
