“…huh… worse than I realized…”

Logan sighed and began to bandage up Remus’s wounds.

“…I realize now that I’ve simply been referring to you as ‘the monster’. Do you have a name I could call you by?”

"My name is Remus, and I'm not a monster."

“Ah, of course. My apologies, Remus… you may call me Logan, or Dr. Croft, if you’d like to be professional.”

"Okay then, Logan. So.. who made you come in here and fix me?'

“Oh, nobody did… I came here by myself. I simply saw that the others weren’t treating you fairly.”

"So what if I'm not being treated fairly? I'm not exactly a person anymore.."

“But you still have consciousness, do you not? You have the same thought process as a human, the same emotions… anyone with these qualities not being treated fairly is an injustice.”

"Well.. nobody else cares about that, so why do you?"

“…I’m not entirely sure, but I believe I’ve been taking pity on you. After all, they have been quite cruel, beating you and whatnot…”

"Its not that bad.. they only do that because I mess things up"

“They shouldn’t be harming you physically… that goes against basic moral rules.”

Logan finished with the wounds on the arms.

“Alright, do you have anywhere else that needs to be fixed?”
