Hey! I'm just going to be posting some of my Photography here!

I never even knew this section to YWS existed. Believe me, if I'd known, I would've posted earlier.

Sorry if I don't post for a long time and suddenly overload the thread, it's just that I use a DSLR and I'm way too lazy to copy files each time I take a photo ^_^"

You can post any critiques or reviews here, I'll be really glad to know what you think!

Whenever I try to post, I get this message:



All my photos are in the 1 MB - 5 MB range, which is DEFINITELY not within 256 KiB.

Anybody knows how I can post larger files, I would love to hear!

Hey Phillauthet! Unfortunately you can't upload larger images as post attachments, so to upload those images directly you'd have to use an online image resizer. (If you search Google, a bunch will come up!) Using those you can make the file size small enough to work -- the photo quality might go down a bit, but not too noticeably.

The other option is to upload your image to a different site, like discord or Imgur, and use the URL of that image inside this code:

[img]link to your image goes here[/img]

In that case, the size doesn't matter, and quality isn't compromised at all.

So here goes:

I think this is the best picture I've ever taken...



This one might not look like much, but the thing is, it took me almost a month waiting and more than an hour shooting to get this. That's because my camera is not that long-range, so I decided to get creative. I set up my binocular on the tripod and took the images ON the camera, THROUGH the binocular. Makes any sense??

agreed!! ^^ i think the pigeon one is my personal favorite, with the patterns in the background and the bird perfectly placed in the corner <3 but they all look fantastic!! =D

This was the first (and the last!) time I actually caught lightning. I had to use a pretty high shutter speed to capture that, so it looks dark. It was pretty bright on that day.



I seriously don't know why I like this so much.

Amazing pics. Thank you for sharing. When you gonna post more though? I see there's a long period of time between your postings, so you're probably not interested anymore or what? I think you need some kind of a push to post smth here, haha.

Btw, I wanted to say that some of your pics need to be edited a lil. You need to work with a background remover to make your pics a bit more atmospheric, without unnecessary things. Of course, you're the photographer and this decision may come only from you, but...it's gonna be better without some stuff. Believe me.
