Also, I love this observation.

Judging by the oversized getup, that pirate suit wasn't meant for him, which meant Stean and said pirate could probably do with a switch in clothes. He decided maybe that was the wrong observation to make at the moment.

Even though Mage might have turned down Harry's offer, I'd love to have them fake being pirates. >> Maybe we could have Soul wear something else to cover his body? He would be down for doing it if it means making Mage happy.

(And if Harry/Stean asks why Soul has to wear the armor, they may or may not get a lie in response. )

Also, I love how both Harry and Soul are like 🥺 when Mage smiles.

And...xD I felt like hey probably wouldn't bother asking...and had them ask to get back to shore. I totally hadn't completely forgotten about the not liking water thing when I made the earlier post.

We could maybe have a pirate ship intercept them anyway on the way to shore and take them a bit by surprise? Or we can just go right ahead to the shore and come up with more shenanigans over there before returning to the water at some point?

I'd be cool with either one! The pirate improvisation might be fun, but having some shenanigans lined up for when they're on shore would be great, too.
