Hello kind people of LWS! I go by many names, too many to count, but you may call me Pol, Polt, or anything really relating to the word Poltergeist, as long as I can clearly tell it's directed at me. Or, if you really want to (or you know me), you may call me Fed

I've roleplayed for roughly, er, six years? Seriously roleplaying for about three to four, the first two were me just trying to find a groove. I'm mainly horror writer but I love really...well...anything (besides sexual stuff, that's a no go). Hybrid characters, due to the site I rp'd on being a werewolf rp with massive amounts of lore built over years of rping together, are certainly my favorite to play!

I'm just looking for a roleplay to join, whether that be a one-on-one or a massive group, I would love to join

(I ramble, if you can't tell.)

OH, I write fanfiction for bLoCk people on Ao3. Really- really gorey fanfiction, but then again, that specific SMP is full of angst.

Storybooks are generally longer (in terms of post length) roleplays with more worldbuilding, Realms are medium-length, Hollows are short, and Duos are for, well, two people who want to roleplay.

I've been roleplaying for... 3-4 years now, and I write as well as roleplay mainly in sci-fi and fantasy. Admittedly, I've been lurking for a few days figuring out how things here work. I'm looking to join a few roleplays and maybe create a few myself and see if anyone is interested.

Hiya! I'm Hope, I've only really ever done discord RP before this and it seems a bit different, I read through the rules and stuff so I'm here now! I like fantasy, Litrpg, and mythology (Greek and Norse but I'm flexible) uhm, I don't quite understand the three different types of RP, but I'm excited to figure it out!

Welcome, @HildegardHope!! We have a lot of fantasy and mythology lovers here, so you'll fit right in :3

Here's a quick rundown on the types of RPs:
Duos - for roleplaying with two people. You can reach out to other rpers you want to roleplay with, or ask if anyone would like to RP Duo on your wall.
Hollow - for quick roleplaying. People can jump in and out and don't need to ask in the OOC (out of character thread) to join.
Realm - in between Hollows and Storybooks. People should request to join in the OOC. The DM (dungeon master; RP creator) may or may not have a plot in mind.
Storybook - the most in-depth kind of roleplay. People should request to join in the OOC. The DM has generally done some worldbuilding and has a plot in mind. Often quite collaborative in terms of writing.

I'd say RP Realms are good for beginners, but honestly, the rping community here is very friendly and I'm sure there'll be people in any rp you join who are willing to help you out! ^^

Looks like not too many roleplays are open right now, but I am currently brainstorming one with @JazzicusMaximus... It'll involve supernatural creatures and the wild west, if that interests you at all >.>
