I'm not sure if @Haileyg21 is still going before me, but I just wanted to pop in quickly and say that I haven't forgotten I have a post coming up soon. c:

I'm the type of person who likes writing my storybook posts in one sitting, so I haven't gotten started on it just yet. But I keep thinking about writing it, which means I'll hopefully actually do it soon. <3

@MageBird, Sounds great! Would you guys be interested in using a WFP to follow the plot for this SB? I'm doing it with my other one and it seems to be working great.

That sounds like a great idea! I've done with my own storybooks before and in other people's storybooks, and it's always helped me stay focused on the story. I also think part of the reason I haven't written my post yet is because I'm not really sure what to do in it (without a reread of the rest of the SB) so having some place to plot sounds like exactly what I need. <3

I had some free time and some inspiration, so I snuck a post! It hopefully doesn't go against what you were planning, @Haileyg21, but let me know if I need to change any of the details so it works better with what you had in mind for your post. c:

I really wanted to focus on the potential human casualties in my post, and how Thanatos would immediately feel more drawn to that than the other gods. It's fun writing his distance with the other gods - it makes him feel like a more fleshed out character.

I also had some fun with the inclusion of the harpies! I did a little bit of digging, and it looks like the harpies became guardians of the underworld at some point in time. I think the reason they would side with Cronus is because they don't have the same dedication to Hades that Thanatos does and because the underworld's gods and creatures aren't as respected/liked as they could be. But they still emphasize with the other people from the underworld, which is why I had that one harpy see Thanatos nearby but not go rushing after him.

Let me know if I need to change anything in my post!

I can't speak for the others, but I love how you wrote Thanatos in your post, @Haileyg21! His little apology for the others was exactly what he would do. He's so aware of being the outsider that he automatically wants to comfort anyone else who feels that way. c:

This is definitely late, but I love your post, @LadyMysterio! I like how Zeus saw that weird little staring match between Thanatos and the harpies.

I know it was a typo, but I saw that you misspelled Thanatos as Thanos and my suspicions that the Marvel character was named after Thanatos have gotten even strong. >>
