Halloween is just around the corner! And during Spooktober it can be fun to consider your favorite mythological creatures to add a spooky or exciting element to your writing or to dress up for Trick or Treating!

So what do you think? What's your favorite mythological creature?

Note: Unfortunately I can only list 10 options below, or else you know Pat Buchanan would be on this list. If you don't see your favorite option please let us know below!

I voted faeries, because they're so little and cute, BUT I just needed to say that I am totally #TeamJacob. The book Edward was really creepy and Jacob was really nice! Don't get me started on Bella, though, I just hated her.

Dragons are my favorite, though vampires are a really close second. I still hate twilight though
Dumbledore: "Now, it's great that you've been saving the school and all Harry, but unfortunately your grades have been a tad low, and, well... perhaps Gandalf could explain it better... hit it, Gandalf!

I have spent a mildly concerning amount of my life researching to an extreme extent how dragons work and what they're like. I mean, they're a fantasy creature but I could definitely tell you more about dragons than I could about any actual living entity, including myself. The rant about dragons lasts upwards of ten minutes if you let me go off. The rant about myself lasts three.
Lost, not aimless. I know where I need to go, I just...don't know how to get there yet.

Faeries in the old folktales are my favorites. The ones that cause trouble and do favors.

The ones that Brian Froud draws.

I voted Dragons, but unicorns are really close behind for me.
Love will come to you in time but it takes patients to wait for its arrival!
