Claudette -- yeah, I noticed that too. Whether I was ahead or behind you decided when I went to bed a few nights. lol.

Jack -- *grins* Oh yeah. I'm catching up. I'm not much of a sprinter when it comes to writing, but I am a marathon-er.

For some reason, that isn't making sense for me. Are you missing a word?

Grammatically, it is correct, although very awkward. What she means to say that is, whenever she was behind you, she stayed up to write more and whenever she was ahead of you meant that she could rest. ;)

*thanks Snoink for the translation*

I rewrote that sentence a few times, but my mind couldn't work it out to make it much clearer... I think I've been infected by NaNoisms. *shudders at the thought of how many are in her novel*

Maybe a comma would help.

*gasps* I'm officially behind today... That's slightly (insanely) terrifying... Especially because I have auditions tonight, and therefore probably won't have time to write...

Congratulations, Claudette. ^_^

...I haven't got a single word since I hit 10,000. Not one. Not for the world or less, not even if I lie. Though if I lied, yes, I still wouldn't have it...

Ah well. I'll sleep instead so that I can fence without running into walls...or floors, as is more likely--or confused sentences. More likely.

I'll say it again. Congratulations! I've only hit 18,000. Alas.

I hit 30K before it was lost. I wish I had saved it on the computer before.

Myth, does your word processor auto save? Sometimes you can find files that way, though they are hidden in strange places.

(I lost my nanowrimo about the 5th day in, and FREAKED OUT but then I found it ;-) )

It was on my floppy disk and it got jammed in the drive and erased anything and everything that was stored on it.
