never use floppies!

*dies* if you're going to do that, use a jump/thumb drive or a (my mp3 player, a creative zen micro photo has this) removable hard drive. Those are your best bet. Floppies are OK when saving small files, but can be ruined easily and so you wouldn't want to use this with something like Nanowrimo. You can probably get a low cost, small space thumb/jump drive at Walgreen's or target, they aren't too hard to find.

Or email it to yourself. You know you should back files up :-) I don't back anything up though, really, I trust myself with files. Which is bad. Because I loose them a lot.

Maybe for Christmas I'll get you a jump/thumb drive!!!

(the whole jump/thumb thing is because they can be called either or, or so I've seen)

Go Cass!

I've only upped by 1k. I understand why writing after 50k is so hard. 'why am I doing this again? Oh yeah, the story isn't over...'

Yeah. I want to get to like....60 or 70, depending on how much more my story actually needs.

I just need to finish the story! Thats it! but now I see no point in it. I need another goal...

I've learnt my lesson! I found a very old version of it but it only has 12K. Maybe I'll get up to 25K and be happy with that.

hah yeah, you're ahead of me...no race XD

I'm at 54k somewhere in there. There is no race unless I manage to write 6k today, but today is for cleaning and reading.... ><

You won! Besides, I'm getting rather close to my ending....

Claudette.... it's 'fermez', not 'fermer' ;)

43,546 words at the moment, and I probably won't be writing any more tonight as it's past midnight and I'm tired. There's a write-in tomorrow though, so hopefully I'll get past 46k at least. Feeling pretty good right about now. :)
