15 Word Story Contest!

Two similar submissions, playing with the same words a bit (I couldn't decide;;)

She had a blank canvas and all the colour in the world at her fingertips.

Her canvas remained blank.

"I love you," his last words. But his love letters showed that was a lie.

He'd never known what it meant to be human. He wished he never found out.

A wicked grin spread across his face- he'd kill them all and leave no trace.

She'd been told to reach for the stars, but she never knew what that meant.

Nothing could separate her from him. They would be together for eternity...Or so they thought.

I have suffered from Calculus for far to long in order to graduate on time.

The stars reflected her spirit, the moon reflected her heart, but the shadows reflected her soul.

She stared bleakly over the ravaged wastelands, wondering how her people had fallen so far.

I wondered how the world, turning ever slowly, could move on and forget so quickly.

After breathing in the sweet aroma of the flower, she fell to her knees. Dead.

I managed to annoy the monster under my bed. It left after only three days.

"Marry me."
"Your wedding's tomorrow..."
"Who cares? I love you more."
"Sorry, but I don't."

She braved the truth-she was destined to become the cruelest villain of all.
