Aaah, about the ghosts. Weeeell, let's just say we'll get to that eventually. Some are definitely friendly, but there will be others who are not. And do remember that there is something very nasty in this mansion that wants to eat you. Which may or may not be the mansion itself. XD
As for telepathy, well. Um. We have a telepath, so I suppose your character can try but I doubt she'll get a response. She'd probably have better luck speaking out loud. Although, she may have a Spirit Guide. A spirit--human, non-human, animal or otherwise--that she can channel through. If that makes sense?
