You have somehow ended up in a ghost town, that seems to be inhabited by nothing but pumpkins, all with different carvings. You wander further in, but can't get out. You can't tell if the pumpkins are moving, or if the town itself is changing. If you stay, you become a pumpkin. Are you brave enough to enter?

[spoiler]
Rules: I want to keep this at a G rating. So only MILD swearing, and no indecency. If you do not like this, then don't enter. If you break these rules, I will ask you to leave. You also need to include a character profile. (sadly, I don't have any pictures of the town)

((Marian is costumed as a vampire.))

Marian stood at in front of an old mansion. She swore she could hear laughter, but no one was around.

This looks like a fun roleplay, and I finally figured out who I wanted to use when joining it! My character is currently going by the name Levi Quinn, and is dressed as Steve from Minecraft - he's wearing a light blue t-shirt, jeans, and brown work boots. He's also holding a styrofoam diamond sword.

He appeared in Charlotte's house in a burst of purple particles - at least, he should have. He had visualized it perfectly: her bedroom, the area right next to the bed and even the the specific floorboard he had wanted to teleport onto. But instead of ending up in the house of his best friend and classmate, he found himself in an unfamiliar town.

A spooky one, to be more specific, littered with an seemingly endless array of pumpkins. He was currently standing a short distance away from a eerie old mansion. He wandered a bit closer. Noticing a girl dressed as a vampire standing in front of it, he cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted, "Hey!"

He probably should have teleported out of here, but the pumpkins were creeping him out and he had to figure out why there were scattered all over the town in the first place.

Marian looked over at the boy who had just yelled at her. Walking over, she held out her hand. "Hi. I'm Marian."
She had taken out the fake teeth, as she was tired of them, and was left wearing a blue dress and a black cloak and her black hair she put in a braid.

He shook the hand with his free one.

"I'm Levi," he said. "Levi Quinn."

He looked around for a moment, trying to come up with a reasonable story about how he had gotten here without knowing where here even was. "Do you know where we are? I was going on a hike and ended up here, but I have no idea where I am right now."

Marian's eyebrows shot up. She had a feeling that he wasn't telling the truth, but she wasn't going to pry.

"I have no idea. I was trying to fl...get to my friends house. I must have taken a wrong turn." She shivered slightly. "These Pumpkins are freaky. And it's getting colder."

((Thank you for joining!))

You're welcome!

The pause didn't escape his notice, but he didn't question it. He had his own secrets to hide - why pry into the secrets of others? He mirrored her gesture with a shiver of his own, then glanced around at the pumpkins in the near vicinity. They were far more abundant than he had initially realized, and that realization did little to comfort him.

"Then we're both lost," he concluded. He turned back to look at her. "Were you thinking of entering that mansion, too?"

"Yes." She turned around and then stopped. "That. Pumpkin. Was. Not. There. Before." She emphasized each word. "I'm fairly sure..." She added.

He turned around and stared at the pumpkin in question. He was initially going to argue that it hadn't moved - because that wouldn't make any sort of sense - but then he came to the startling realization that he didn't recognize the pumpkin.

Okay, then. Pumpkins were somehow moving on their own. Was this the time where he should be trembling in fear? Because if it was, he was already halfway there - a shiver was beginning to race up and down his spine. "I'm sure there's some sort of explanation for this," he said, his voice hesitant.

Marian just nodded. "I promise I'm not crazy." She said randomly. She walked up to the door of the mansion and opened it. Walking in, she stopped. "It's like stepping back into the Victorian age." She said, staring at the high backed chairs and the red carpets and velvet curtains.

The moment he stepped inside the mansion, he was instantly hit with a wave of nostalgia. There were some clear differences between that and the building he was in, but it reminded him so much of his home that he almost commented on it - only to bite his tongue when he remembered he had to keep up the facade of being a normal boy named Levi Quinn.

Marian shuddered slightly and pulled her shoulders back. She headed towards the stairs. "I want to see wants up there."

He fell into step beside her.

"That sounds like a good plan to me," he said.

Marian just nodded. She still kept her shoulders stiff and pulled back. "I'm hoping to get a good layout of the town."

While Marian may have been stiff as they headed up the stairs, Levi kept his posture relaxed. He may have been more than a little disturbed by the plethora of pumpkins, but he had been in dangerous situations many times back then and had been through some stuck like this, too. He was well prepared for whatever would come their way, and he could bluff through it if it turned out he wasn't.

"So, Marian," he casually asked, "where are you from?"

Marian sighed. "Originally? I couldn't tell you. All of my life has been being chased from one place to another. I've been on my own since I was ten. I have a little house up in the woods a couple miles from here. I've been living there for about a year, which is the longest I've ever lived in one place."

Who wants to become a writer? And why? Because it’s the answer to everything. It’s the streaming reason for living. To note, to pin down, to build up, to create, to be astonished at nothing, to cherish the oddities, to let nothing go down the drain, to make something, to make a great flower out of life, even if it’s a cactus.
