Hello!
Whenever I try to delete guest posts on my wall, they won't delete. It says the comment is deleted but if I refresh the page, the comment is still there.
I am able to delete my own wall posts though, just not guest ones.

Hello Nate! Since you're in the backend poking around, I was wondering if you could look into fixing/optimizing the Trophies tab. Don't know if it's just because I have so many badges (*flips hair*) but I haven't been able to view my profile's Trophies page in a long time. It tries loading for about a minute and then lands on the cloudflare timeout page. The same thing happens if I try to check any other Trophies pages of established users who likely have a good collection as well. Otherwise, when I try to pull up a new user's Trophies pages, it takes a while but does eventually load in.

I'm using Chrome, and this occurs on my personal PC, work Mac, and android phone.

Thanks @Wolfi for the detailed info! That helps a ton.

Got it fixed! What was going on is that the width and height is calculated for each image before displaying it, and to do that, it was downloading each image. This used to work fine, and in fact still works fine in the dev environment, but for some reason, it was of course not working anymore on the production site. Anyways, now it just accesses the file locally rather than downloading it.

@cherie ->> Thanks for reporting the bug. Unfortunately, that might take a bit longer to fix. If there's a guest post you need removed asap, please let me know via PM and I'll take care of it.

It loads so quickly now, too! Thanks so much Nate!

Ok so this has nothing to do with the recent update and I always pushed off mentioning it.

After a review, when I get the page with the points I earned for the review etc and then I don't click on any of the buttons offered (aka, view Review) and instead click on the yws logo to go back to the main page, I get a General Error

Spoiler
General Error
template->_tpl_load(): No file specified for handle body

URL says this: https://www.youngwriterssociety.com/work/dragonight9/index.php

I provoked the error just so I could copy the error message, but it is consistent. Probably bc it doesn't delete the work/USER_NAME part of the url when trying to go to my index page?

Oh right, I remember I reported this issue last year but I sent it via email like the Error Form told me.

A few small bugs I've noticed since the new changes with regard to People Tab hashtags:

1. Infinite scroll does not work, and without pagination, it hard stops at 15 posts. See people/hash/songoftheday as an example
2. All avatars are broken
3. When navigating away from a hashtags results page, sometimes the "hash" slug in the url sticks, breaking the following links:

Seeing this on both mac and windows laptops, chrome!

Good catch @Wolfi. I completely forgot about hashtags. I'm going to be limiting infinite scroll, so I'll fix it when I do that.

@Tikaya ->> Thanks for reminding me about that bug! It's been a persistent one that I've just kind of ignored. I'll fix it.

Sorry to have to say that, Nate, but the bug persists :(

Not really a bug but the new rounded corners in the publishing center don’t fully cover the black side author bar on the top right when viewing an article

Found another one. In the new page to view works, commas and the like, do not render properly and appear as &%a or something like that.

Still safari and, but I tasted on windows 11 edge too: uploading images seems to load infinitely.

wfp is part of yws... right? if so, is it possible to solve the weird punctuation-not-happening-in-the-writing-section thing on firefox/firefox-based browsers?

so far (others might know more than i do), i have found that the apostrophe (') the left parantheses, the percent symbol, and ampersand do not work, and instead when you try to use them, will either not put themselves in the darn textbox, or highlight words behind them.

HOWEVER, you can still put these symbols in chat, and maybe in your name? unsure. also the numbers associated with some of the symbols (and the quotation marks) do still function and will be typed.

(@soundofmind, i think you also use firefox ??)

Hey @herb, WFP is part of YWS, but unfortunately fixing any bugs in it is far beyond my ability. It's based on a very old application, and it has a lot of bugs. At some point, it will be retired. But, thanks for reporting it!

@noperfectformula ->> Can you take a screenshot of the rendering of commas issue?

i’m sure others have mentioned this but the chat tab has been broken for a couple months for me!! when i click on it (both safari on iphone and chrome on mac) it just shows a blank blue screen.

though, in my opinion, it hasn’t been used much in the two ish years i’ve been here. i’m sure others have different opinions but since it’s been broken for so many of us for so long, it’s just gone out of use
