Hey, guys. I need help finishing Chapter 5 of Magician's Wars. If you are familiar with my story, then you know what I am talking about. If anyone wishes to help, then please reply.
I'm gonna me honest, it's really warm in my room so I don't have the concentration to read through this properly, but I did my best.
When I get stuck at times like this I come up with ten possible ways to go next (and if I get to ten without having to stop and think then I make it twenty.) Then pick my favourites and decide from there.
Alternatively do a similar thing with the characters, and list ten things that each of them might want to do right now.
Gabrielle seems like a wonderfully assertive character, and she and Genji have a great dynamic, so maybe they could meet up and have a discussion/argument over what happened with the books and whether to pursue it, depending on what either of them wants.
