Iii'm interested in joining this but I'll be gone four days before it starts and then uhhh not back for a MONTH so aahh-- Ifff there's any way I could try hopping in around a month after it starts, I'd like to? But I completely understand if that doesn't work out!

the tldr is she's Lance's daughter, obligated by her Dad to complete Alola's island challenge and take down the league and the Battle Tree. She's as talented as her dad and hates every moment of being a trainer.
I expect Astrea to arrive in Alola with Jenna, as it's possible they're friends, depending on how annoying Jenna is. Hopefully not very annoying. She'd want to clear the challenge as quickly as possible. I imagine there's a lot of potential for spicy friction with the other party members when it comes to Pokemon battling.
Also, I imagine Astrea spending ridiculous amounts of time trying to catch strong Pokemon, possibly endangering herself and the others in the process (eg avalanche on Route 3 catching a Bagon, recklessly trying to catch a Gible in Haina Desert, tunnel collapsing in Diglett tunnel as she's hunting for a Larvitar etc etc). More spicy friction potential there. Finally, in my head her dad gave her a mega bracelet with a Gyaradosite along with her Magikarp, as kind of a constant reminder of what she needs to do. Oh and her Pokemon are deliberately not nicknamed because she hates their guts.
She believes a lot in balance, and in Johto lived in Ecruteak City with her mother, one of the Kimono girls. Fascinated by the practice, she took up dance lessons along with her own style, and is now taking her show on the road (along with her friend Astrea, whom she sort-of considers a bodyguard...)
She's cunning and witty, but not too charming on the surface besides her unbelievable blue eyes.

Astrea and Jenna will be arriving together in the harbor of Hau'oli City, and the plan right now is for Team Skull grunts to mistake them for new recruits, so we'll see where that goes.
i took the creative liberty of making the island, and the entire city, massive. note the references to time/length/distance scattered throughout the post (eg the bus etc). also, everyone is older. ~5/6 years after the USUM adventure, probably.
