Burning Rejection

I sigh. "Thank you."

Adam gets up and growls at him. "Your gonna get it."

I roll my eyes, and walk over to Loki, take his hand and speed walk away from the others.

As soon as we are around a corner, out over view from everyone and everything, i shove his chest. "What the hell was that about? He could get you killed! His father is the mayor!"

"Get me killed?" I laugh, "Do you know who I am?"

"Uhh. Whatever. You need to just stop! Try to blend in, Loki." I growl, shoving my fingers in my hair.

"Okay," I sigh wondering why I take up for her so viciously anyway she is just human...

"Okay." I turn and look away from him, my cheeks on fire, burning like i was smacked.

My expression is neutral as I re block my thoughts realizing I just hurt her my self....

the bell rings, bringing me out of my thoughts. I turn and walk past Loki, to a row of lockers. "UGh. Stupid lockers."

"Where do I go?"

"Lets go get your schedule from the office." I toss my hair in a huge messy bun. "Lets go." I walk in front of him.

I spot them and run over. “Oh, hey Link!”

I groan internally. Why? Oh why? WHY? WHY? WHY? "Hi, Julie."

"Link, you remember Julie, right?"

I fake a friendly smile, "Yeah, I think so..."

That evil witch is gonna try to take my... wait my what?? I think to myself as I look away from them both.

"Uh, nice seeing you again..." I then look to my new crutch like get me out of here!
