"Heavenly Father, if thou doth dishapprove of my indulgenshe, shtrike me down now." I carelessly drawled. Then I waited about ten seconds, shrugged, and drained the glass in one go.

Codix blinked. "How do you know what his collection looks like? Was he that drunk that he showed you-"
"Are you wearing a Star Wars shirt?" Maahes interrupted, then looked incredibly sheepish when he realized that he had accidentally cut Codix off. "Is that Kartiel's shirt?"
Nadira apprised the situation with a wise eye - after all, she had just spent a decent amount of time with him while the other people present in the hallway had been looking for answers on how to get back into their actual bodies.
"I think Raiden just snuck into his room and took it," she declared.
Raiden leaned back a little, made finger guns at them, and let a small smile descend upon his face. He made no move to confirm nor deny their accusations of him stealing Kartiel's shirt.

"Thanks," he said, before looking to the kitchen. "We probably should, because you guys at least know how to adult somewhat. What about Kartiel though?"

I vaguely noticed Raiden return, with Bo carrying a slumbering Kartiel. I was vaguely envious, but mainly delighted that I now had a greater audience.
"Aegeash, wouldja lookit, lookit that? Little lightweight Kartilel, he looksh so innoshent...hah. Doesh anyone have a pen?"
I grew impatient, and chose to interrupt my own subject with one I was more interested in.
"Allllright, itsh my turn! You sonsh of-" my swear was interrupted by a conveniently timed hiccup- "ready to hear the heartbreaking epic of my lasht relationship?"
I took a long, impassioned draught of wine, directly from the bottle, and returned it slowly to the table. I took a deep breath, and indulged in a dramatic pause.
"Her name... was Arietta."
Then I stared into space, and promptly crumpled unconscious onto the table.

Aegeas sighed. "Would'a liked ta hear that story," he said to the unconscious Boris. Something about Boris's tranquil expression and gentle breathing made Aegeas want to sleep too. Being drunk wasn't so fun anymore - it was exhausting.
Tilting his head up to the ceiling, he waved absentmindedly at Kartiel and the others. "Have a g'night, everyone what isn't Kartiel," he said, before closing his eyes and immediately falling asleep.

Bo did not resent the fact that he appeared to be one of the few reasonable adults among them at the moment, but when Boris and Aegeas almost instantly passed out upon his entrance, he found himself letting out a sigh.
Someone had to babysit the sleeping drunkards.
He turned around to Maahes as he walked over to Boris and Aegeas. "What was it you wanted to go to the library for again? I'm wondering... if there's some kind of bunk with beds where these guys can sleep."
Maahes thought for a moment. He was still trying to remember the layout of Atlantis, but he quickly realized that he didn't need to know the layout of that - he just needed to know what the library looked like, and that memory was still fresh in his mind. "I wanted to figure out what malfunctioned when I was going through the wormhole. Since the Alterans built the stargates, I thought that it might a good idea to study the circuitry and programing to figure out what went wrong, and maybe reteach myself a little of their beliefs when it comes to quantum physics."
Nadira blinked.
"That sounds amazing," she said. "I want to research that, too, now."
"Same here," Codix agreed. "I know we said we'd help you find the information, but it would be amazing to have that knowledge."
Maahes smiled. "Then I think we should still go to the library." He turned to Bo. "There's some couches there we could put the sleeping members of our group down on. We would just have to carry them there." He eyed the unconscious trio. "I could take Aegeas. We just need someone to carry Boris-"
He glanced over at Boris, and was startled to see that Nadira was already hoisting the man up as he spoke. "I've got him," she said, readjusting his limp body so the weight was more evenly distributed.
Bo couldn't help but smile when he was Nadira scoop up Boris with ease. He turned to Codix and Raiden, and nodded towards the fridge.
"Awesome. Do you two think ya'll could find any water bottles or something for when these guys wake up? They'll probably be thirsty. And hungry. So if there's any kind of snacks, grab those too."
"Sure, though why don't we just take them to Kartiel's room? He's got a big ol' King sizw bed there - probably thinks he's king or something - and it'll probably be much more comfortable than a random couch," Raiden said, opening the fridge and pulling out 4 bottles of water. He left it open for Codix to get snacks.

Codix reached into the fridge and loaded his arms with snack after snack. When he had finally finished grabbing them all, he turned back to Raiden. "Maahes really needs to check out the books in the library," he explained. "We can all wait for Kartiel to put us back in our actual bodies, but Maahes needs to figure out how to get back to his reality using the stargate. If we bring them with us, we don't have to worry about wasting time."
"It is probably best to stay together," Bo agreed. "Though a king bed sounds nice, I'd like to keep an eye on Kartiel," he said, nodding to the guy in his arms. "So uh, with all that settled, I guess - off to the library we go!" he said, leading the way out the door.
"Alright, alright," Raiden conceded, holding his hands up -- nearly dropping the water bottles -- "We'll go to the library then." He followed the rest of the group out the door.
