I received plenty of stellar short stories from you guys - well done! Some made me laugh, some made me feel, and all were enjoyable to read. After about an hour or two of scrutinizing and readjusting my rankings (especially for 3rd place, sheesh - I flipped a coin and then reversed the decision afterwards), I'm pretty confident that I've found my top three short stories. So, without further ado, here's the podium!

BRONZE

@AliceinBluue!

SILVER

@LadyLizz!

Let me space this out for the sake of dramatic tension. :P

GOLD

@Mea!

Congrats, you guys! Thanks for putting in the time and effort to craft some wonderful short stories!

@RaidenCheese, @alliyah, @Querencia, @snowmonkey9, @LadyLizz, @Mea, @SirHenryFisher, @Kays, @AliceinBluue.

Inferno, Canto 27, l 61-66.

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting to win! I was fairly happy with my story, but others' were really good too. Congrats to Lizz and Alice!
We're all stories in the end.

I think of you as a fairy with a green dress and a flower crown and stuff.

I think you, @Deanie and I are like the Three Book Nerd Musketeers of YWS.

I should have done a murder mystery instead of a end-of-the-world type of short story. Oh well. But yeah, congrats to Mea!
