To start off, this Storybook is based off of the anime/cartoon RWBY, but you don't need to watch the anime to be in this Storybook. The story will be set before the show by about two decades and the story will be explained by me until you can comprehend it fairly well.
Of course, I do highly recommend watching it. At the moment, it has just started its fifth season and it only takes about 5/6 hours to binge the entire thing. I think it's very much worth it, especially if you are interested in the world in general. So, while you don't have to watch it, I do highly recommend it!
Also, I will be updating information here so it's easy to access.
Names
Now, first things first, I do want to say that, regarding naming of characters, there is a template. You can read it Here. The basics of it is that your character should be named either a color (Ruby or Emerald), something that makes you think of a color (for example: Torchwick, Sun, Neptune) or something that can mean a color (Yang means "Sun"). The series also has a theme. Whatever you name your character, their clothes has at least something relating to that color or close to it. (Ruby has red clothing, Yang has yellow). When thinking about your character, go about their theme before their name. Your theme, Semblance, appearance, and weapon will greatly help you in choosing your name.
Secondly, we have set teams, which set letters that your names have to start with. We have Team VRDN (so, here, you can have a character starting with V, R, D, and N.) and Team AMBR (here, you can have a character starting with A, M, B, and R). This does limit you but it's here to stayy true to the show's standards.
