Our second round of posting begins officially today, since my post should be up tonight. This will be the last short story before our main plot seriously begins. Yes, we'll be seeing more from out glowing friends in black ships, so it up for future conflict, you will earn one point for having your character think back on his/her memories of them.

You can also earn one point for having your character reflect on just how crazy it is that they're on alien planets. After all, they aren't notorious for space travel. This is a new concept to them.

Lastly, you shall be awarded one point for including some mention of your character's backstory. We want to really flesh out our characters, so they're interactions and personalities are more fun and entertaining to write.

@soundofmind, I included a lot of stuff about Bo in my post, so please let me know if any of it was out of character for him! (I thought he'd be the type to cry about saying goodbye to a kid, but I wasn't sure.)

Bo loves kids and would totally cry :,) I imagine Tario probably said some adorable heartfelt goodbye that just melted his heart.
