@Lumi, the king just has to be the kind of guy who would adopt a son. ^_^ The reasons can be whatever you want, and I'm totally up for talking about it if you want more information!
I haven't done any sort of planning but perhaps singular time travel would still be useful. I can change his origin point a bit to being from the regular world.
If none of these possibilities work, message me here or on discord, and we'll discuss a point where the lore meets. Otherwise I'll probably have to drop from this.
Everyone has such amazing characters! I really can't wait to see what to do with them.
When I get a chance to tonight, I'll write up a post further explaining the plot of the storybook. But, for now, I thought I should mention two major plot points about this storybook. The first is that magic can go out of control if your emotions do; that's probably how a lot of people on Earth learn about their magic. The second is that other people have come from Earth five to ten years ago, so you can message me if you want to be one of them.
