In seriousness, though. Can I have Vari kill off the squire or the knight that we've lost? I imagine it would make for a fun bit of backstory for a potential replacement, plus give a reason for some of the characters to hate on Vari either from the get-go, or whenever they realise it was him :3

Haha, maybe, but he'd have to really be out of it to kill two people and both of somewhat high profile. Meaning he'd have to use a lot of magic on something prior, and hence freak out and just snatch the first people he encounters... it's more likely he'd do just one, probably starting like a chance meeting at a tavern and ending badly for the squire/knight before Vari even realised who that person is.
