@Allisonthewriter -- I don't think related as in family would work (although Vari never knew any family other than his twin, so they could be long lost cousins or whatever if you really want), but I'd say it's more likely that they know each other from the streets. Maybe they could be friends? Like, he could see her as a sister despite not being blood-related, and she could like/trust him for some reason?

That sounds excellent! I think making them friends (or rivals...?) sounds like the best choice.

Haha. Fair enough. I'll let you figure out how he joins. The dragon is most likely the classic near-immortal kind. I have more information regarding that, hence why I said the dragon-slaying, princess-rescuing part is going to be interesting. XD I can't tell you anything about that yet. As for knowing Morwenna's a Mage. That bit might be pretty obvious. Especially if/when someone is injured and she has to heal them. Heh, have fun with that.

Tell you guys what. If I don't see anyone post a knight in the near future I will make a second character as a knight.

I would prefer that we don't have to make second characters, but if there's no new ones by the end of the month, go for it. In the meantime, let's give people a chance to join.

Vari's profile works as it is, but if having at least one knight is more important than two thieves I can change things around and make him a knight... if no one new decides to join us, that is. I quite like him as he is, but I also like the story and want to start writing :p

Give some horrible explanations on what is a knight in this story.

@NicolMemo what you usually see in the movies and whatnot. Rides a horse, jousts, rescues the damsel in distress, generally honourable. Sometimes slays dragons. I suggest watching" A Knight's Tale" or something similar to get an idea of what a knight is like.

I understand what's a knight is, but I wonder what's the role of knight in this story.

I prefer that my knight will be a lady. I'm bored with Arthur's Round Knights being all male although is not rare to watch a woman as a knight. :p

There were female knights. They were called Lady instead of the Sir though. Just a little history for you.

Ohhh. Basically, they're retrieving the princess and returning her to the capital. So the two knights are in charge. They decide where the party goes (much to the annoyance of...certain members) and the how/when etc. Does that make their role clearer?

I love the idea of a female knight! Just means the remaining knight needs to be male. @Remembrance think you can handle that?
