Well we could do that, but some of the Higher up members of the Order report directly to the Prince, and we could have a group of Order agents who follow the royal family around when they leave they palace (blending in with the crowd of course) to watch out for assassins, and then do normal Order work the rest of the time. What do you think @CoffeeCat?

But now who's going to get drinks with Zephyr at the tavern?

@CoffeeCat I wasn't trying to argue you into it! If you would really prefer the Guard, that's still fine. I was just saying that from my perspective, the Order would fit Zephyr more. As to the tavern, the Order and Guard can still drink with each other, despite the rivalries between the groups.

@LordZeus No, no! You didn't force me into anything, don't worry. In fact I'm glad you changed my mind, now that I think about it more... You're right, it would definitely suit my character better I'm editing his CP now.

And yes, @SirenCymbaline Adrid can still have drinks with Zephyr haha. They can be like "Psht, who cares about the Order and Guard feud? We're gonna be pals anyway."

Great @CoffeeCat! Just one more thing, remember that agents of the Order have the dragon tattoo on a part of their body. Probably somewhere easily accessible though (though hidden, of course).

Just so you know, though Adrid is serious when she's on the job, when she's off it she'll turn her brain off and relax.

@SirenCymbaline Exactly. And after a few drinks I'm sure she'll be cracking jokes in no time This is good because they can discuss the happenings of each Dragon group and pass on useful information, as well as give each other friendly advice. They can make a regular thing out of it.

@LordZeus so I figure that Torrin can be a new mage that the Prince meets on one of his outings. Maybe have him running from some thugs and dealing with them in a comical manner.

Some info I got from Lord Zeus on the management of the Dragon Gaurd and what they do.

It's on a rotation basis. They are separated into Patrols numerically ordered
Like first patrol etc.
The different patrols take shifts on a daily basis on patrolling the poor and mage districts and protecting the royals
They switch roles each day basically
They patrol the districts to break up fights
Those 2 duties are not separate
And attack guild positions
Those 3 are not separate
Basically they patrol the areas where fights break out and the Guild are based to act on either when they get the info
Which is usually given by order agents....if they don't try and strike themselves in a bid to prove they don't need the Guard
But remember most guards are in the streets.
Different groups of guards take shifts on guarding royals but the majority are always on patrol.
