Well @CoffeeCat I personally thought he'd make a great agent of the Order (which would also add some friction with Astrid, being in the guard, with the rivalry between the 2 groups) but if you prefer the Guard, then that's fine by me. I'm glad you guys are taking to this!
@LordZeus Nooo! Now I'm torn. If Zephyr was in the Order then he could rat out mages and send them to Irondark (mwahaha! ).
But I chose Guard mainly so that Zephyr could interact more with the royal characters (a.k.a. prince and princess).
Gah! I don't know anymore. Could he be in the Guard for a while and then be reassigned to the Order? I was actually planning that Zephyr would start off hating mages (because he knows very little about them other than his own beliefs), but then gradually join their side after being susceptible to them. So this switch idea would go well with what I originally planned, and it could create friction with Adrid and challenge their camaraderie relationship via Zephyr's latter role
