1. No God modding
2. Your character's crime shouldn't be something small like shoplifting, but also not on the extreme like murder because the prison isn't max or min security, it's somewhere in between.
3. Swearing and violence are to be expected, keep it to a minimum.
4. Sex: follow general storybook rules, but this shouldn't be all that evident because this takes place in juvie, guards will most likely break you up if they see you doing anything.
How this is going to work:
You can have either a male or a female character. However, girls and guys are separated, they are on opposite sides of the facility but have daily activities together like school, work, and meals.
I have done extensive research on what the typical day in a juvenile detention facility is really like. The schedule is as follows.

7:00: Youths are released for breakfast
8:00: Youths are released back to their cells until the school day begins.
8:30: Youths are released to school.
10:30: Bathroom Break
11:30: Youths are released for lunch
12:15: Youths are released back to their cells for in-cell rest time
1:00: Youths are released back to school
3:00: School ends
3-4:30 Youths may read, watch movies (G or PG movies), or engage in other healthy recreational activities
4:30-5:30 Dinner
5:30-7:30 Youths will complete chores such as cleaning their rooms or the facility in general
7:30-10 Recreational time until lights out
if a prisoner exhibits signs of violent or otherwise insolent behavior, he or she will be put into solitary confinement for 24 hours.
