Don't worry about it! The first few days of school are always the busiest because it's such an immediate switch of schedule.

Loved the chapter! I'll start whipping one up soon- I'm also going to edit her history just a little bit.
We are who we are, and if someone has a problem with that; that's their problem not ours.

Why do we capital-N Nerds love Mars so much?
Because it's beautiful, it's tough, it's buried in our mythic, childhood memories.
It's covered with human triumphs but also with sad stories of failure.

Right- people have been known to disappear in her woods... (This is definitely not a coincidence. It's her doing.) But the townspeople found that if they left books at a shrine of sorts- people could hunt as they pleased without a dangerous encounter.

Also be prepared for a whole lot of crazy in my post...

Not the good happy kind of crazy- the 'I think I'll start eating human' crazy.

Remember when dad's shoulders were the highest place on earth and your mom was your hero? Race issues were about who ran the fastest, war was only a car game. The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and good byes only meant tomorrow? And we couldn't wait to grow up.
