Submitting a story is a piece of cake! On the main toolbar (the black bar with all the buttons) above this thread, click on Submit, or click it here.

Once you're on that page, find a genre you want to post your story in.

That'll take you to a page where there's a Post Box where you can post your story, and then submit!

At the top of the webpage, on the far right, there is a link that says 'Submit'. Click that then follow the instructions that come.

Soooooo.... I wrote this chapter of a novel and now I want to split it up into a prologue and a first chapter. How do I do it?

Edit the chapter so that it contains only the prologue or the chapter one material and then create a new chapter for the other half. So long as you title them along the line of 'Name of novel prologue' and 'Name of novel chapter one' it should work out just fine

Do you have to have a certain amount of points to change your username? If so, how many?

Name changes cost nothing; however, we discourage them due to the confusion it causes on the boards, as well as the added work for moderators. If you need your name changed, contact someone with a Dark Green or Red name.

Hi Guys I was wondering, what happened to the coin system?
Where you would have to have 100+ coins to post a piece of your writing

I thought it was a good way in allowing people to share their writing but also have the motivation to review someone else's

The point system will be back in place when the Apollo update is completed. Please remember, this is just stage one of the update so a lot of stuff is going to be missing for a while.

How about the Star ratings? The points? The Walls? Will they come back too?

To shorten my question: Will every record from before come back?

Every single bit of data that was on the old YWS is still in-tact. Every last point, star, wall post, and like. They're just simply invisible at the moment because the programming takes a bit of time.

So yes--unless improved upon, everything will return.

Just wanted to tell that, when you're submitting something and you want to put a picture, you can do it directly too.

Under the 'Save/Preview/Submit' there is a tab named "Upload attachment". Then you can choose your file and Tada~!

But some files maybe too big.

If you want it the normal, big and clear way, you'll have to upload it through photobucket. Like this:

Ok so I have a story but I can't decide where to put it, cause I like to infuse my story with different genras so many people like them. So where would I put it?

Wherever you feel it fits best. And if all else fails, you can always place it in General Fiction.
