What's your strongest element?

I'm strongest between the 'a' and the 't'.


Seriously? I would say characterization and description. I know there a number of users who feel like all the characters in my stories run together without clear distinctions from one to the next (and there is, of course, a handful who feel the opposite), so I would say, choosing between them: description.

Language/description/style, I guess. Its not so much that I'm especially good at it, I'm just not as good with the other things.

Characterization, hands down.

It might not be what I'm 'best' at, perhaps, but it's what I really enjoy doing, and I suppose it shows.

Definitely description. I've been told that my words paint pictures. Yay me!

I voted description, just because I don't think I'm half bad at putting pretty words together.

I like characterization too, though.

I would say narrative/plot/conflict.

I have no idea. My english teacher used to say I was pretty good at description though.

I'm good at plots, but I'm best at dialogue. At least I've been told.

My descriptions get the point across, but they're not wow-good and tend to be way too adjective-y.

I said "other" because I can make people laugh, but really I don't think I'm good enough at anything else in particular to put it down. And they're not Pat Buchanan jokes, sadly.

I'm not sure what I'm best at, so this is definitely a guess. I say style. People on another forum rave about my prose, but I'm not even sure what 'prose' is. I just write.

I said pace because I love to build intensity and such in my stories, but I like characterization and interesting plots, too. I like to have a lot of different elements to my plot that seem completely unrelated and somehow have them all interconnect.

I said dialogue but...idunno...I've never really thought about it and analyzed myself. I think it's time I put some writing up on YWS though, so maybe you guys can tell me.

Probably description.

I'm the hundreth person to take this pole! All the percentages match up with the number of people who chose it!

I know, its not really that exciting... I am easily amused, but life is better when you can smile at the small thing, st least it is IMO.
