how would one even go about bringing down a behemoth like Igurath?

the bigger they are, the harder they fall

ahem...

WOW I DID NOT THINK WRITING IN PRESENT TENSE WOULD BE THIS HARD, WHY DID I NOT SEE THIS COMING. PROBABLY BECAUSE I CAN'T REMEMBER MORE THAN TWO THINGS AT A TIME.

P.S.: Does my post have to have a specific length? I might actually write something that's rather short. A miracle for me. XD

P.P.S.: Do I have to have an image with my character's name at the beginning of my post, like everyone else? I have virtually no experience with image software. <.<

Gimme like two minutes and Jaron will have one. I stopped at Mikael because I literally forgot to do the rest.

Your challenge expired!

Lumi wrote:Challenged Adventurer(s): @Bloo - @Caesar - @Tortwag - @AstralHunter - @Nutty - @TheSilverFox - @Deskro - @Jagged
Storybook: Aether
The Challenge: MOGAI Matters in Mu

The challenge is to start off the storybook with a strong presence of empowerment for female leads, LGBT+/MOGAI, people of color, genderfluid and transgender individuals, and otherwise marginalized individuals. Each post must exhibit your character either BELONGING TO or ASSOCIATING POSITIVELY with one of the aforementioned (yet not exclusive) groups. Considering this is a fantasy world, the struggle may not need to be as evident as it is in contemporary society; however, the empowerment must be present; it must be real; and it must be strong.

Completion Time: The entire first page: 15 posts.
Credits Awarded: Two points for every post containing empowerment of contemporary margins. Because this is an issue close to my heart, I am removing the point limit for this challenge.

Good luck, and blow my mind.

...Oh. The first challenge expired. ...Huh. Baaah, I'll still roll with that first post plan of mine.

Question though, does that mean that we should already make it so that we move towards Redwind in our first couple of posts? We're makin' up the travelling means, to, or we're going on foot?

Hoofing it.

Also, the point of starting past the exposition phase of the story was to get things moving immediately--no introductory posts, nothing in the way of "Hello, my name is _____"

'Kay.

Welp, that makes sense, I think you mentioned that before. Gotta use my writin' week wisely, then. The whole "prepare-trip-for-five-years-journey" I'm in shall still get in the way, but hopefully I'll get a post by the end of this week.

I feel honoured and flattered to have a quote of mine as someone's signature. ^_^

Also, @Lumi, I saw that Undertale reference in the SB Challenge! However, Flowey's battle was more panicked than fearful. This ought to be fun.

let it be known that i'm perfectly fine with pace stagnation happening as long as there's still talk going on in the DT so we can form something of an idea of a plot

also, if i have my way, there will be a redwind citizen ripping the meat from his arm with his teeth while under hallucinogens

anyone else? eh? EH?

Go for it xD

In currently still trying to figure out a post for Alexia, but I really really want to make a post for him in Redwind because his poor innocent nature will be severely crushed and I want that so bad

Right. DT. Chatting with peeps. Gotcha.

Well that sounds positively charming! I'll really have to go out of my way and try makin' this as horrible as I can without exaggerating. Interesting challenge. Personally it's the whole absorption process the Flesh Zombies guys I suggested a few pages ago is what I was going for, as well as how people get turned into those. Hopefully, if I nail these descriptions, I should be in the clear too.

My character is a necromancer and I listen to too much metal. What was the rating on this storybook? R? It's R, right?

...if it's any consolation I'm stil working on that first post of mine, though to be honest, the main thing that makes me hesitate is that I'm still not sure how to start it and make us all go to Redwind, since we're not even there yet.

...Would some sort of semi-truck work, in which case we'd all separate in the city and narrate its state individually until we regroup somewhere else in Redwind?
