Actually @AllisontheWriter we are closed right now :/ however, we will be opening up midway through Volume 1, so if you want to just read along right now, there will be a spot open eventually!

That's perfect, @Lareine! The design turned out even better than I was hoping for (especially with the dagger design and how the red and gold colors complement each other)! Well done! :D

Great to hear, Silv!

On that note, I'm heading to work in a few, so I probably won't be available for about seven hours. I'm going to try to hang out at the mall with wifi this evening, though, so I can focus on helping anyone and getting the rest of the symbols done!

@Lareine, I've made edits to my CT, so please, please don't start on my symbol if you haven't already! (If you have, though, I'll remove those symbol-related edits; I don't want to make extra work for anyone. XD)

Also, Haul is totally going to be nursing a schoolboy crush on Glass. You have been warned.

I unfortunately won't be able to hop onto the writer pad tonight. D: I am working on Ink's outfit (I'm going to be drawing it out in case my explanation is too confusing), but I have two quick questions on naming weapons and naming Semblances. Is there any rules for weapon names? And what are some tips for coming up with the name of a Semblance?

Nope, you can name them whatever you think your character would name them. @Mage

Also, you don't need to draw your outfit if you don't want to! I just wanted a little bit more substance to it so it's not as normal xD

Alright! I know I would name a weapon after another person's, like Excalibur, Muramasa, or Caliburn, but Ink would go for something less famous. I was thinking of the name Scroll.

I really do want to draw it! Also, my characters are supposed to be anime style (I'm still improving my art skills), so can I use it as his picture?

One last thing: Do you have any tips for naming Semblances?

If you want! Most of the CTs don't actually have pics, so if you draw yours, kudos to you.

The only tip I have for naming your weapon or Semblance is this: think through your character. What would they think is cool? What does their weapon represent for them?

Also, once you get your appearance and the names down, your CT should be finished!

Awesome! I chose Scroll because of Ink's love of literature, but I'm going to still be thinking of any other possible ones.

To give an example, it can also depend on where your character is when they're naming their weapon. My character, Glass, named her first weapon Viridian Glance because she was in school, had a desire to impress people, and thought it sounded cool as heck. But she named her second weapon simply Wrath, because that's a big part of her life now.

So where was Ink in his life when he named his weapon? What was his characterization then, and would it differ from who he is now?

I just thought of something. Is it possible for weapons to be passed down? I was thinking that Ink would name it after his dad's weapon, but if possible, could he actually use his father's weapon?

Also, sorry for asking all of these questions. ^^"

It is possible for weapons to be passed down! There's a character in the show, Jaune Arc, whose weapon (Crocea Mors) was passed down through his family.

Well, the answer is depends on that @Mage. Honestly, you can if you explain it well enough. Yours should be simple enough because Ink's father was a Hunstman but passed away. So, yes xD you'll just have to change it in your CT
