Time for a Talk

So, I was thinking about how this section is called "Character Chit-Chat", but most of the time characters are either a) fighting each other or b) fighting someone else after brief introductions.
I'm not suggesting that our characters all sit down for tea (because though I love tea, I certainly can't force any of my characters to sit still that long). What I am suggesting is that any character you wish can just talk in here. Whether they be a Storybook character, a character in a roleplay, a character with a story of their own, or some random person you just created, they can talk here.
I'll post first so everyone has an example of what I mean.

Schadel:

Hey everyone! I'm Schadel, owner of Schadel's Necromancy Agency. We haven't had a job yet, but we solve mysteries and take care of hauntings. Would you like a business card?

Amy

"Oh! Uh, sure, why not? I'll take a business card! What does a Necromancy Agency do though?"

(I hope this is ok? And if it's supposed to be conversation based, would it still be ok to write things that aren't said by the character? Like thoughts, or minor actions? Like if a character were to pout, or frown, or scratch their head or something?)

"Is a necromancer a assassin?"

I slowly bite my nails. I've had too many assassins in my life . . .

Schadel:

*fishes business card out of pocket and holds it out* I'm not an assassin...*clenches fists* I could never kill someone for the sake of money...*takes a deep breath*
My necromancy agency solves mysteries and helps both humans and ghosts. I don't like the idea of exorcism at all - you destroy a ghost's soul when you do that - so I talk. Well, I will do all of that stuff when I get the first job.

Jackie

"Uh sorry. It's just. Stuff."

I remain silent for a moment.

"Can you help me with something? Can I take a business card?"

Amy

Amy nodded slowly as she listened to Schadel explain. "Oh, dang. That sounds really rad! Dude, I want a business card! If I ever get into any crazy supernatural shiz with a ghost I will definitely give you a call." Amy jokingly winked, smiling goofily and giving a thumbs up. "Not that I plan on it though. Seems you can help this kiddo out, though!" She gestured to... uh, well, she didn't know the girl's name.

Schadel:

*nods* I'll make sure to help to the best of my abilities if that happens! *glances at unknown girl* I'll try. *clears throat* How can help you, miss? Also, what are your names, you two?

Amy

"Amy."

(I'm laughing at this,,, Just look at it)

Jackie


"My name is Jackie . . ."

Cecilia

I heard we could all talk like civilized people here. I do miss a good chit chat. I've brought some tea with me, as well.

*brings in a platter of tea and biscuits*

Fair warning--I believe my romantic partner might've laced one of the pots with cyanide, so we might want to leave that alone until we're all perfectly sure it's safe. Unless, of course, you're up for a little game of chance. *pours a pot, sips tea*.

Mercy

"Um, I'm Layla...
Sorry if I freaked you out there; I don't tend to make much noise. Does wonders for going unnoticed, though..."

Oh! Ahahah, wow, more people. Um. Um. Hey there! Lady with the tea, *nods at her*, and Layla! *nods at her as well*

And... Jackie, right? Hello. To everyone. So many names.

Cecilia

Don't be afraid, Ms. Amy. None of us will hurt you. Probably.

How's everyone doing this fine evening? Or morning. Or afternoon. Really doesn't matter too much to me.

Amy

I'm doing alright, I guess! Not really sure what I'm doing here...
