Just a small note for the Skyrim fans: despite Skyrim being the most well known Elder Scrolls game, please don't find a reason for your character to be coming from there. This is about Tamriel as a whole, so don't be afraid to have your character come from the city of Tear to the far east or Elden Root in Valenwood... Obviously Skyrim is allowed, but only if it has good reason to be Skyrim. (even though I said Silas lived in Riften, he is from Cyrodiil in the city of Cheydinhal. I just added Riften so that it could be plausible for him to have been an apprentice to Carnigeir)
Also, if the map isn't of good quality on your browser, the city of Anvil (where we start this SB) is on the west coast of Cyrodiil, more or less in the middle left of the map.
