Secret Santa 2015! [Status: Success]

S E C R E T S A N T A : 2 0 1 5 Due Date: December 15th 11:59 PST Hello one and hello all! Welcome to Secret Santa, a YWS event that has happened, on and off, for the past few years now, but something I would like to make an annual thing! This is an event in which you are assigned to be an anonymous Secret Santa to a member of the site. To enter, members will fill out the form below and post it in this topic. When the time comes, I will take all the names of the participants and put them into a hat, then randomly draw names and assign aforementioned name to a SS! I will then send you the name of your recipient and it's now YOUR job to complete a gift for them. It's a very fun thing to do, something you have all probably done at least once in your lives (I hope). Before we can get to the form, though, there are some rules. These terms are final and non-negotiable. Violation of these rules will result in your disqualification from the event, so listen close and listen well, because ignorance will not be taken as an excuse! 01: You are to keep the name of your recipient anonymous. After the event is over (and that's when I say it's over), anyone is allowed to come forward and share the name of their recipient, either publicly or privately. This is not mandatory; if you wish to not know or to keep your recipient private, then you are more than welcome to. Sharing the name of your recipient either with friends or with the recipient before the event is over is not allowed, period. It's SECRET Santa, peopleee. 02: Do not enter this event if you do not have the time to finish your gift. It isn't fair that you'll receive a gift and someone else won't because of whatever excuse you have to give. It's not cool, so don't do it. 03: If, for some reason, you need to drop out of the event or you know that there will be a delay with turning in your gift, then PM me right away. 04: All gifts will not involve any sort of real-life transaction of goods or money. There should be no exchanging of addresses, Paypal accounts, etc. Any requests for such information should be immediately reported to a staff member. YWS is not responsible for any off-site transactions. 05: Please respect your SS' form. If they say they don't like something, don't do it. If they request something, do your best to fill that request. It's up to you to explore that person's profile to get a better idea of what they're like if you don't quite know them that well. Subtly asking them questions is fine, but be cautious and don't make them suspicious! Just do your best to make a gift they will like and I promise that they will appreciate you for it. :) 06: There will be no requests for a new name draw. Take what you get and make the most of it. This event is to help open you to new friendships, not so it can be dominated by cliques. 07: Please post your completed form here. 08: PLEASE be appreciative of what you get. Where do you spend most of your time on YWS?: Probably the club forums, though I have been getting into the green room a lot lately.

Favorite Artists/Songs/Shows/etc.: I really don't have that many, except for THE PIANO GUYS (good grief, they're amazing) and some Lindsey Stirling.

Favorite Books/Fandoms: I actually have two... The Giver Quartet (Lois Lowry), and then The Maze Runner (James Dashner, but I've only just finished The Scorch Trials so please no spoooilers... xD

Well... Just see my wall/about page, there are a couple of things I don't particularly like/make me uncomfortable... But other than that, go crazy!

Just saying, I'm not too awfully hard to please.

Don't get stressed over my gift, I literally smile/laugh at everything. Every. Single. Thing. ~~both a blessing, and a curse~~ Also, I'm sorry, but I have no knowledge whatsoever when it comes to Sherlock, Doctor Who, etc.... (please don't hurt me) If you get me something "that"-related, I probably won't get it, but I'll laugh anyway.

Color Preferences: I'm generally good with all colors, if they go together- mostly "cool colors" (blue, green, purple, black, etc.) but not orange!
Where do you spend most of your time on YWS?: Ah, probably browsing the People tab.
Favorite Artists/Songs/Shows/etc.: I mostly like rock, classic rock. Most recently, I like Death Cab For Cutie and The Black Keys and Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys... Lots of things.
Favorite Books/Fandoms:
[/b] Leigh Bardugo is my favorite author. <3 I also like a lot of good, popular series like Eragon, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and those types of things. Also: Star Wars.

What Do You NOT Want to Get?: I'm not really in any fandoms and haven't seen much of the more popular fandom shows (e.g. Doctor Who, Sherlock) so it wouldn't make sense to me. Otherwise, I'm not too picky.

WONDERFUL NEWS, FRIENDS.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, has both sent a gift and received one! We met my goal of no backup gifts, which makes me, Santa, and our backup elves VERY happy!

So guess what that means? THAT'S RIGHT.

You are now FREE as Dobby the Elf to reveal yourself to your recipient! As always, if you wish to remain anonymous, you are more than welcome to, but I'm sure your recipient would love to give you a big hug and a kiss under the mistletoe!
