Animorphers DT

I thought that since I've already posted this round, anyone can have some interaction with Darrin. maybe one of the girls who's already morphed (Emma, Layla or Charlotte) could think he has a crush on them, because they catch him stalking them or something. Also, in my mind's eye, Darrin is a charmer, being a lot like Dan plus being good looking and a girl charmer. He'd be someone Dan would like as a friend for their similarities but be jealous of for their differences. Darrin might even be sporty as well. These are just ideas, guys. In general, we can really shape his character, considering he's going to stick to everyone for a while now.

@Wolfie36 I don't think that Mr.Neil would be a morphed, considering that they've only just developed the morphing formula. However that's just my opinion.

@LeftyWriter I agree that the rebels wouldn't do any major activity until after the bombing, but in the meanwhile they may want to keep track of the Government's dangerous weapons. That's why I. Brought Darrin in.

Yeah, that could work. Maybe they didn't want to use army guys because they wanted fresh, new recruits to shape and become the future whether they could have used army guys or not. But I think it makes sense that Mr. Neil would be greedy and want in on the experiments. Maybe he became a part of it to begin with in hopes of becoming an animorphers himself, but they needed to test it first on labrat before using it on important people and the lab gets blown up before he gets the chance, so he takes the research in hopes of one day being able to recreate the chairs when everyone else thought it got destroyed in the rubble.

Neon could totally hack the school database and revoke his expelled status.

Army... seals. They've been animorphers all along. xD

I really like the footage idea, Lefty. I could definitely see Cole and Neon working together again. And Zeus, I like that plan with Darrin and one of the girls, too!

Okay, now to recap on the serious stuff we've been going over...

--The kids see a news broadcast of the lab on fire and see that Mr. Neil was a scientist there and has gone missing. They meet up at science class and try to figure everything out. They realize the building on the broadcast is different from the lab. The kids get suspicious so they sneak out to the lab to find it blown to rubble. They retrieve footage of them being in the chairs and of Mr. Neil stealing research hours before the lab is blown up.

--Jinx is super paranoid after being in the hospital and morphs in the woods to see for himself, which works and makes him even more paranoid. He is followed in the woods and meets up with another Animorpher (Riley possibly) and, because two is more than one, the shadow runs off.

--Riley morphs the first time at dance class, and because she's in a skintight leotard, is able to morph without it being as embarrassing.

--Riley morphs at the Battle of the Bands, forcing Emma to take her place. Emma has a Lizzy Maguire Movie type scene.

--Mr. Niel might become a character that is posted every-so-often to show what he's planning.

--Mr. Niel has another motive and wants to become an Animorpher himself. But they had to test the technology first on the kids. Mr. Neil steals the research files, which the kids see on the tapes. This is so he can try and recreate the experiment himself, when the government thinks all of the research was destroyed.

--Darrin is part of the rebel organization, brought in by Mr. Nelson and starts hanging out with the animorphers at school. He's nice, good looking, sportsy and a flirt.

We still haven't entirely figured out how Mr. Neil was planning to recruit the Animorphers. It was mentioned that maybe he would bring them in when they're in animal form, but how would they explain their disappearances? Would he force them? Or try to recruit them?

Something that came to mind, that I'm not sure if it makes sense or not, is maybe that if one of them was captured in animal form (say, Cole as a monkey gets put in a cage at school and the principal calls animal control) that the lab would pose as animal control and pick him up? Not sure how that would tie in, just a thought.

Hey. I had an idea for Darrin. After that Battle of the Bands thing, (Could we possible have them scrape by the first round somehow? I had sort of an idea for Riley getting caught and chipped after they make it past the semi-finals. You know, the whole Lull Before the Storm effect where everything is awesome, and them BOOM tragedy.) Riley could be walking home after the whole morphing incident and Darrin offers her a ride. Riley's seen him around class and has talked to him a little, so she says okay (cause she's an idiot like that.) and it only occurs to her after he drives right past her house and keeps going into some unknown part of town that maybe it wasn't a great idea to get in a car with a stranger. This could lead to the rebels kidnapping her, and she'd most likely have Neon in her bag (Kinda planning for her to take him everywhere since she can't leave him alone at home in case her mom finds him.) so she lets the cat out while the rebels huddled in a planning session and not paying attention to her so that her kitty can at least escape, and Neon goes and blows something up or something like that. @Chaser I'm not sure what your plans are for Neon, so if this doesn't work, I'll make some changes. and @LordZeus would this work for Darrin's character? I thought it might be a good way to introduce the protectorate.

I like that thought, Lefty. I don't know if this might work but what if he brides the kids with money? He could also give threats that make some of the kids nervous, and scared. Mr. Neil could tell the school a lie about the children's disappearances, saying "They aren't feeling well" or "I'm sure they'll be back tomorrow."
The school, will then get suspicious, but drop the idea later on. As I said before, Michael was almost caught by the police and "animal control". Most likely, the animal control could be the lab, to run tests and whatnot.

Another thing is if the lab gets some of the kids in their animal form, they can keep them there in a cage or something. They could possibly run some test on them, to how they are handling their anamorphic changes? I don't know if that'll fit into the plot. Just something I was thinking.
