Night's Artistic Imaginings

China journal!

During our trip to China, I decided to document by painting every few days. I pasted tickets, papers, and other items into the journal and painted over or around them. I omitted a few, due to personal information, but here's some of them! Enspoilered for lots of content.

This last one is a self-portrait. I painted it on the flight home. I feel that this journal is invaluable, because it really shows how I process my feelings and how I view the world through art.

Tried my hand at acrylics with an ultra-closeup of new bro's face.


A magical bookcase-staircase that my family came across in a host-house! It was so awesome, I had to paint it.

Drew my friend in a coffee shop.


Not a quality picture (heck, none of these are) but I tried painting with coffee! It looks a lot better in person.


Finally, my first attempt at graphic-novelness. This pic is still unfinished, and all completely experimental, but I think it looks okay and I had fun doing it!
