Aye aye, @Wolfie36! I shall try to finish that today. Also, we technically have three options yet again. Early Han, which is a combination between full-blown war and backstabbing diplomacy; Late Han, when the Mongols decide to pay a little visit to there southern neighbors; or Ming, which is China's golden age, the silk route, Marco Polo, etc.
I was thinking about one of the Han options, but I leave the choice to you, mademoiselle Wolfie (that is, a very espionage-yet-filled-with-action tale, or a full on barbarians-at-the-Wall tale?)
Former incarnations have been:
TheWanderingWizard
TheClockworkConjurer
TheIllusiveIntellect
TheSunderingSorceror
And, TheMaieuticMesmerist

Oh goodness, @TheWanderingWizard, too many decisions! I'm notorious for my lack of quick decision-making skills, so please, you decide! Thank you for working on that hook paragraph. :)

If any of the participants have an opinion on which section of the Han Dynasty is best, speak up!

Hello...I'd like to take part as the medieval kidnapper. Ought to be fun. It's my first storybook though, so I'm a bit nervous...well, good luck to all.

Ah, a newbie to the Great Oceans of SBs!! Welcome! You are fortunate enough to have not one, not two, but three SB mods with you here, so if you ever have a question or are struggling with something, feel free to ask!

And, @Wolfie36, after three coin tosses, one attempt at flame-reading, and a lot of poking and pointing, I have decided to go with the early Han Dynasty! Get ready for the war of the Three Kingdoms people!!

Ooh, well I really don't care... I'd like to be either the kid, whichever gender you want, or the assassin/warrior. Both sound like a lot of fun.

Ah, so the era is decided. I shall begin my research immediately. :)

Spoiler
Also, I believe the Three Kingdoms came after the Han...

@Chaser, welcome! You're going to have a lot of fun. :D Wandering's right, there's a lot of people here to help you out.

@PerksOfBeingAReader, be specific!!! I can't choose for you. And you need to also decide which time period you'd like.

Certainly, @Wonderwoman! A storybook is a story that a whole bunch of YWSers come together to write. To start, you'll need to check out the character slots and choose which character you'd like to have. Tell me, and I'll reserve it until you actually finish creating your character.

Click on "Create a Character" in the storybook. Use the specific character forms I provided to describe your character in the gray "Description" box.

Once everyone has their characters in, the story will begin! You can check out other storybooks for examples on how long each post should be and how often you should post.

Not to put a damper on things, but the First Crusade actually didn't start until 1096. It was announced in 1095, started in France, and ended in Jerusalem in 1099. The Black Plague was a situation of the 14th century, which was much later. Does that all check out okay?
