I feel like I should browse the storybooks more often... I probably almost missed this!

Um, if the dinosaurs are still on, I would love to take on the bloodhound. Otherwise, I'll wait around and see what comes up. (Honestly though, Han or Ming China both sound pretty good too.)

If we are to change the Cretaceous to Ancient Egypt, the character slots would be pretty similar to other two:
-Parent
-Historian
-Armed guard
-Egyptian kidnapper/tomb raider
-Pharoah's son/daughter (why not have some royalty)
-Kid

Let's just have a vote.

If you want to have Ancient Egypt as a time period instead of the Cretaceous, like this comment.

Otherwise, like Buggiedude's comment to save the dinosaurs.

@Lylas, please do! Which slot would you prefer? (And which time period do you think we should we keep: dinosaurs or Ancient Egypt?)

EDIT: And hey, we could have all four time periods too and just fill in all the unclaimed characters as NPCs xD. Naw. Way too complicated.

@Lylas, not true! I think the Parent is a good character, but perhaps the title discourages its potential. Maybe "The Brilliant Critech Employee Who Embarks on a Journey Into the Past to Save Their Child From Samurai Swords or Nasty Knights or Callous Cowboys, Whatever the Case May Be" is a more attractive title.

Which time period, at least, are you interested in? (It seems like the Cretaceous Era is going to be changed to the Han or Ming Dynasty.)

@PerksOfBeingAReader, of course you can join! But please, choose a character slot, otherwise I can't reserve your spot. Since mistress @Wolfie36 has yet to edit the cretaceous period into the Han/Ming Dynasty, I (as manager) shall set up the preliminary slots available based on her thoughts on how the Ancient Egypt ought to have been:

-Parent
-Historian
-Armed guard
-Chinese assassin/ Mongolian warrior
-Emperor's/ Protector of the Realm's (during the early Han period of the Three Kings) son/daughter
-Kid

(Note that the above created list may change according to Wolfie's preference...)

Ooh okay. Well, the assassin sounds really cool, or the kid slot would be great! This sounds so interesting!

@TheWanderingWizard, since you clearly know a lot more about the Han/Ming Dynasties, can you write the little "hook" paragraph for it like I did with the other two? You can PM it to me when you're done. It only needs to be around 4-6 sentences. Thank you! (And which dynasty should we go with, anyway? )
