@Verser aaaaah, conflicting opinions :D But please, stop saying stuff like "do what you want", because I'm actually putting thoughts in my posts. I'm bein' risky with this whole side-plot, but I'm bein' careful with what I'm doin' with Hoopa. Really.
That and, for the nth time, it's normal that we don't have the same views on stuff. We have different opinions after all, and I'm not going to eat you for bein' different in terms of ideas. Seriously, I won't. I promise. Let's stop for a sec a talk about it, 'cause we can only advance better thanks to said talk.
PS: And no, I'm not mad at anyone here, this paragraph was me bein' serious for once. Yup. Happens.
Now... On to answering!

-He's not a god. Actually, when Confined, he's pretty much as powerful as a Semi-legendary like Articuno, for instance. And he's also as small as a Pichu. A 5 years old could hold him in his arms in that form.
-I mentioned that Hoopa fought against Fleedjio (a full-grown Salamence, AKA one of the few "normal" Pokémons that can tackle Legendaries any day) and Ariala (fully recovered since she slept) before encountering Twinkiel, and I did mention that he was super tired and unwilling to fight anyway. Plus, my Flaaffy got him by surprise. Put that situation in the middle of the day and without Fleedjio around. Smart or not, Twinkiel would've been destroyed.
-Um... Sure, Hoopa "likes" Twinkiel, but they don't really have the same definition for the word. To Hoopa, liking someone means enslaving the person for his amusement 'til he's bored. Then guess what happens when he gets bored. Remember: both of the characters I displayed in that scene are major cases of insanity, especially Hoopa.
-He caught Latias by utter surprise, as we saw. He's not sure to win against her in an actual fight. Dude's a Psychic/Ghost. Even Plasmya could beat him: one Shadow Ball and he's down. That can go either way, though, as one Psychic move and SHE goes down.
That and we're not even sure how he captured Xerneas or if he was alone when he did. ...Or are we? @AstralHunter @Robusto do we know how the NO got Xerneas yet?
-...Death and gore? ---> "It gathers things it likes and pushes them through its hoop to teleport them to a secret place." <--- That's the only thing he does in his Confined form. He's a troublemaker. Death is for Yveltal, and gore is him having fun. Darkrai is actually far more gore-lovin' than he is. Hoopa ripped his own heart off to show it? Good.
Darkrai can make YOU do that and feel it over and over again via realistic nightmare. Nightmare that he can make you remember for years to come. He can even torture your mind when you're dead. He did that at least once, and that was in the main games. <-- Not even his best achievement, btw.
Hoopa's sadism truly appears when unbound. ---> "In its true form, it possess a huge amount of power. Legends of its avarice tell how it once carried off an entire castle to gain the treasure hidden within." <--- That, right here, is messed up for instance.

But please, do explain :) Why do you believe the latest post don't match with the previous ones? He's just as playful, imo, but I'd like to hear your opinion on the matter. One last thing: I was tasked with posting a something SOLELY focusing on Hoopa, and that's the next one comin' right up. So if you're disappointed in the lack of suffering/torture displayed in Twinkiel's latest post... Prepare yourself

@15253 Is it because of what Xatu told him? Or just the result of his latest experience?

So much for today's post. Tomorrow FOR SURE GUYS!!! Wow @TheSilverFox, thanks! It means a lot to hear that. I'm a writer who specializes in emotion, (I am a Cancer after all,) so depth in my stories comes naturally to me. I'm glad you guys like the deeper side of the story I've been portraying since the introduction of Riley. While the other characters seem very goal-oriented, he's more of an in-the-moment type guy, giving contrast to this SB. Gosh, I love this site.

@Tortwag, I'm suddenly feeling very good about what I'm doing with Yveltal. A God of death who enjoys sapping the life force from others in love with a pure heart like Articuno? I'm very excited to get this little side-plot rolling. But it will remain idle until the Resistance meeting.

@Charizard821 We can still wait, man! Don't you worry about bein' late :) And we all love this site, methinks. Can't wait to see more of Riley, mostly because I think he's the most normal guy in the whole cast of Humons, which I find hilarious.

...Oh my god yes, DO get this side-plot ready :D MOAR sadistic figures! Except Yveltal's actually... "sane", in a way.

I don't know @Tortwag, I'd say Flurry is pretty normal. I guess that's why Riley likes her. Anyway, yes, you guys are gonna LOVE what I have planned. Also, there is probably the BIGGEST plot twist of this story coming up soon. At least on our end. This is the first any of you have heard of it, so be excited. The bad news is it will be quite a few posts before it happens, but you will love it. Trust me, nobody is expecting this.

@Charizard821 Oh, true. But she's more... Eccentric than he is. And she proved it even more in Buggie's latest post. He probably also likes her beause she's a mix of that. Energic person + actual normal and not TOO eccentric. Y'know, like Twinkiel.
...Good. It's a good thing that you're cookin' up somethin' unexpected, BECAUSE NOW I WANT TO COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND TORTURE YOU UNTIL YOU SPIT OUT WHAT YOU'VE COOKED.
Ahem.
So the plot twist only concerns your group? I mean, it sounds thrilling either way, but I wonder how large it is.

I absolutely cannot wait until Flurry's back story moment comes... Also, y'all are amazing for posting while so much school stuff is going on.

In other news, I would like the opinions of some boys in a small (depending on how you look at it) personal matter. Lately, I find myself getting asked out a lot, and I need some advice on how to discourage that. Thanks!

Oh speaking of backstory, stay tuned for more of THE most depressing backstory of all time.

By the way @Tortwag Im just saying hoopa seems like the kind of guy who would, instead of playing a game of wit with twinkiel, he would shove a psychic spike through his gut and run off laughing.

@Buggiedude2330, you came to the right guy. I like to think of myself as a kind of love expert. Although Hunter would also be good to ask, due to the whole psychology thing. PM me the details and we'll work from there. Writers unite!

@Verser I see what you mean. He IS sadistic after all. But psychic spike? he fought a Salamence and apparently had a hard type doing it, and a random, crazy Flaaffy threatened to electrocute him point blank if he attempted to attack.
That and if Hoopa was like that, why would he have bothered kidnapping Latias by surprise? Why would he be strategic at all, for that matter?
What I'm trying to say here s that Hoopa relies on sadistic strength when he can, AKA in his Unbound, super muscular form. In THAT form, he'd shove a psychic spike through every Resistance member any day. But when you're tiny, with little to no defense whatsoever, you gotta be careful with your actions. and that's the point of my post: I'm just trying to show how carefree and subtle he is, because he knows hr can't kill everyone as easily as he could anymore. Hoopa, to me, is not about killing. He's about playing. Having fun. And killing/torturing would be just another way to express his fun. Just not the exclusive way. And he's frustrated because he can't have fun as much as before because he lost a huge chunk of his power.

Ask yourself this: when a Salamence and a Clefable damage your baby-sized body, would you attack the electric madman who you know will damage it further? We're talking about the same guy who wanted to torture Kyurem, participated in Thundurus' capture and won a war he randomly joined. Knowing this (because Hoopa knows), would you attack that guy when you just fought a tiresome fight against a powerful dragon? Why take such a risk? Isn't that the kind of stuff you'd do as a six-armed, huge djinn-like Pokemon?

The point I'm trying to make is:
Confined Hoopa = sadistic, crazy but CONTROLLED, aka strategic, because he knows he's not as strong as he used to be.
Unbound Hoopa = sadistic, crazy but BERSERK aka utterly brutal, because he knows he's so strong that he doesn't really need to wait and think.
On top of that, Twinkiel is the only Pokemon he met so far that is genuinly enthusiastic upon seeing him. So basically he got curious as the game continued.
Um, one more thing I wanted to explain in my Hoopa-only next post: The point of the game was to silently place a hoop somewhere around Twinkiel's body (thus slowly dismembering the guy), while the latter tried to spot them, and if he succeeds, Hoopa resets his hoops and the game goes on. Do you still see this as a game now? 'cause it's more a subtile attempt to attack and torture than a "game". Which, for Hoopa, is the same thing.

@Buggiedude2340 I missed your post. Um... Yeah so, the thing is, if you discourage boys asking you out, you should be firm about it, as in, "thanks, but I'm not interested in your proposition.", but you also should try to be polite when doing that, or else boys that are not comprehensive (AKA most of the bunch) will go around and shout that you're a "cold virgin", or stupid stuff like that. Do send a PM if you have anymore questions or precisions to make, I don't mind :)

@15253 Ohhhh. Both. Interesting. Also I'm really liking the way you portray Xatu, he's amazing.
@Verser ALSO missed the part where you mentioned the saddest backstory ever. Darn, I already feel sorry for Frost.

What did I miss? I've gone for only a few hours and I'm flooded with notifications again! Stupid Solitare, you won't let me win...:P.

@Tortwag: Good gosh, I'm amazed at how well you've defined Hoopa's traits. O_O. Your explanations are profound, exceptional, and I can see why Hoopa is going careful and being a trickster, rather than an all out murderer. After all, he's been beat up by a Salamence and a Clefairy in the middle of the night, and just happens to run into Twinkiel, who seems to be the only member in the entire cast who is happy to meet him. No wonder he wouldn't go beserk. XD. Hoopa is one crazy sadist, no matter his forms, but, not having his true powerful potential, he's also a bit cautious, playful, and temperamental.

Like I said, I'm blown away at how well you've defined Hoopa. My characters follow the same line - I provide feasible, complete explanations for every event that my characters go through and try to provide as few holes as possible. You've done the same thing, and your explanations are clear. :D He'd normally, if he was in Unbound Form, be the most evil character here. However, since he's in a baby form that doesn't have nearly as much power, he's turned to being more cautious, defensive, and witty, so that he has the potential to be just as fearful as he used to be, but also prevent risk upon himself. Great job defining him and his traits, Tortwag, and I read your latest part. That was the most sadistic thing I've read in a long time, and it gave me an idea. XD.

Spoiler
Since Aegeas is Hoopa's enemy, and you've made it clear that Hoopa is wrathful at whoever locked up his ferocious powers, guess who locked his Unbound Form in the Prison Bottle? I'm going to be writing another part today, and I'm probably going to incorporate that connection. Bwahaha....:P

@Buggiedude2340: I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think I can help you with this personal matter. Nobody has ever, ever asked me out before. That's because of one reason. I'm introversive, not often found outside the house, and almost all of my friends are boys (and, when they aren't in another state, we play baseball. They play one awesome game, that's for sure. :D.) Tortwag provides some great advice, and has managed to sum up what I was going to say in a nutshell. Once again, sorry for not being able to help. :|

Have a good time, everyone! :D. I'm going to play (lose) more games of Solitare...:P

@Buggiedude2340

punch them straight in the face.

No, I'm kidding, I guess you could be more assertive or try to hang out with friends whenever someone approaches. I really have no experience in this but I find I'm good with social situations...kind of.

@Charizard821 let me guess, something to do with Keldeo >.>

@TheSilverFox Thanks :D glad to see that the explanation was worth sharing. And yeah, you understood it pretty well, nothin' to add here. And yeah, I think Hoopa Unbound is actually the most sadistic Pomemon to this day. When he uses his signature move, he opens up a few portals to punch you again and again with his six arms, and then opens a portal behind your back just to laugh at you. He's literally the only one who does that.

As for your idea, I should probably mention that his Prison Bottle has been sealed centuries ago, probably before Aegeas was born. BUT, your idea can still be done. We can simply imagine that Hoopa actually found the Prison Bottle in the previous war and hid it somewhere (with Hoopa knowing this, thus causing their rivalry) to prevent the djinn from unlocking his full power.
...which totally suits me because then Twinkiel could actually find it as well and keep for himself until that ending I planned (I recall Robusto saying so.ething about Legendaries not having access to their personal items, so let's not use it.)
