Goodness, missing a day of YWS is akin to missing a week. Nevertheless, I prefer an energetic, exhausting SB to a boring, dead one. However, I shall deal with the posts in the order of apeparance.

1. @Charizard821, what happened to Gabriel is a topic I find highly upsetting, so I wouldn't be able to bring myself to explicitly write about it. Besides, you should know by now that I love doing things subtly (I'm a Cancer; blame me XD), especially when it comes to topics as sensitive as those. The techniques of suggestion and implication make writing more powerful anyway. (And thanks for the toast! :$ everyone gets a ♥)

2. I actually think it would make far more sense for a Chestnaught to drag Gabriel off Riley than a Galvantula. However, Arthur is an outsider and a new arrival to boot, so I think the Snow Fort should employ volunteers as referees. (After checking up on them, of course.) As such, the Galvantula will remain the referee for Gabriel's first match, but Arthur will definitely be the ref for his second.

3. The arena in Frostpoint itself is the Colosseum-arena. I would have used it, but I didn't think it would be wise for the Resistance to broadcast their fighters' strategies to the world. Also, they would spar in the privacy of the Fort, but if they were to challenge the New Order's people to a "friendly" duel (or one of Frostpoint's locals), then they would use the village's arena.

Furthermore, while tension between the Resistance and the New Order has been increasing, I think it would be a fine idea for the agents of the two factions to engage in some competetive fighting every now and then. Or would that just worsen their relations due to one side losing and possibly being sour?

4. @Buggiedude2340 suggested that Flurry could have been a clique leader in her human life, so I think the characters don't necessarily need a sad backstory; they could volunteer for other reasons as well. For example, Gabriel clearly joined to escape, but Flurry joined in search of atonement; therefore, Riley could have joined because he wanted to make a difference.

5. @Tortwag, you could have blue skin and speak gibberish (as well as English, of course) for all I care - you are a writer, and that is what matters. I treat everyone equally. (Unless I have met a given person already and do not like them - then my demeanour will not be as friendly.)

EDIT: I never had the time to finish this post, and now it is two days later. Oh well. *shrugs* And, continue:

6. @15253, I would not have guessed Xatu, although it does make sense. Naturally, I am not surprised Morn has somehow made his way into PMD as well.

7. @Tortwag and @TheSilverFox, just as a future reference, never mention the expiration of any SB of which you are a part. I have spent many hours trudging through the SB remnants of the SB archives, and I can confirm that very few SBs actually make it to the end. Just before many of those died, the participants asked whether the SB was dying or mentioned the nearing expiration somehow.

So, as a warning, don't even bring up that topic - it jinxes the SB. However, if that were to happen, I know I would still be here, as would Buggie and Charizard, since I'd badger them the whole time if they left. The rest is up to you. (Believe me, you do not want to leave me alone with this SB. All I would need is one participant who's still active, and bam! Converted into a Double-Trouble Writing Huddle. (Besides, I have sooo many ideas for this SB, you get lost in them.)

8. @Robusto, I see you gave them the same warning. Good. That means we're on the same page.

By the way, here's my SB statistics:
Spoiler
In the Storybook Archive, there are 2250 (45x50) storybooks (Double Trouble Writing Huddles included). The amount of storybooks which had a succesful conclusion - meaning it was planned and the storybook did not end prematurely - total at around 47. That is about 2,1% of the total amount of storybooks in the archive.

These are the statistics up to December 05.

9. Silver, you have to remember to add the date in your posts, otherwise we don't know how far behind or ahead Aegeas is.

10. Robusto, I am honoured. :D The election of this SB was no surprise though.

11. @Verser, I see that you decided to go ahead with finding the Mind Plate. I am neither a Manager for this SB, nor do I have any plans for the Mind Plate, so I cannot say anything against it. In fact, I found the post quite enjoyable. Well done! However, just keep what everyone else said, as well these lists, in mind:

AstralHunter wrote:The list for the Plates:
Spoiler
~ Meadow Plate - already found by Twinkiel, guarded by Celebi
~ Flame Plate - already found and guarded by Ren
~ Splash Plate - already found by Zulu, guarded by Lugia
~ Sky Plate - reserved by @Robusto for Zulu
~ Insect Plate - reserved by @Tortwag for Twinkiel
~ Toxic Plate - to be found by Gabriel, Riley and Flurry
~ Zap Plate - reserved by @Tortwag for Twinkiel
~ Mind Plate - already found and guarded by Frost
~ Stone Plate - unreserved
~ Earth Plate - to be found by Jewels
~ Dread Plate - already found and guarded by Bloodmoon
~ Spooky Plate - reserved by @Charizard821 for Riley and Flurry
~ Iron Plate - reserved by @AstralHunter for Gabriel
~ Fist Plate - reserved by @AstralHunter for Gabriel
~ Icicle Plate - reserved for the group who goes back to Frostpoint after the meeting
~ Draco Plate - reserved by @Robusto for Zulu
~ Pixie Plate - already found by the New Order

The list of Guardians for the Plates:
Spoiler
Grass - Mega Venusaur
Fire - Mega Charizard (Y)
Water - Mega Blastoise
Flying - Mega Pidgeot
Bug - Mega Pinsir
Poison - Mega Gengar
Electric - Mega Manectric
Psychic - Mega Alakazam
Rock - Mega Aerodactyl
Ground - Mega Steelix
Dark - Mega Houndoom
Ghost - Mega Banette
Steel - Mega Metagross
Fighting - Mega Medicham
Ice - Mega Glalie
Dragon - Mega Ampharos
Fairy - Mega Gardevoir

To everyone, if a Plate has been reserved, respect that participant's wishes and leave it alone. Even if their character won't be going there soon, it may be essential to a later subplot. (@Buggiedude2340 initially reserved the Mind Plate, @Verser, but fortunately, it wasn't important.) At the moment, all Plates but the Stone Plate have been reserved, so if you want it, claim it ASAP. If you snooze, you lose.

11. @Robusto, I see all the other participants only appear to be using four moves, like in the video games. Does the same apply here, or can they learn as many moves as they are capable of? (Excuse the end-of-sentence preposition.) The latter would be more realistic, since our characters are in the actual Pokéverse, and not a game, but I must be sure.

Well, that's it. My themes I shall add at a later stage. (Although, Robusto, you will have to constantly edit it, since some of us will probably add more as the SB progresses.)

@AstralHunter, characters can learn as many moves as they want. Zulu knows five at the present, counting Dragon Pulse.

p.s: Frost is going to get a move change since the psychic plate is making psychic his primary instead of subtype.

@Verser, I'd love to post. Let me see if I can get caught up on the posts and make one myself. No guarantees though. Also, @AstralHunter, why am I not surprised that you're a Cancer? I'll give you one guess. XD And blue people talking gibberish? Somebody's been watching a James Cameron masterpiece. As for the experation date, I would like to think we will ride this out to the end, and maybe do a GROUP PREQUEL! Where did this idea come from? Aegeas Dewott. We all know now because of Aegeas that the Continent had been in a war long before PMDSPA. When we finish this, I suggest we go for another lap, and make that prequel. And even if you guys were to leave, you can bet your bottom dollar I'm staying. I WILL NOT ABANDON A POKEMON SB! In short, I'm with you Hunter. (Oh, and would you guys like me to keep the first fight Arthur or Galvy as the ref? Preferably discuss this Hunter and @Robusto before responding. Thanks!)

@15253, scared, I am. Also, would you like me to re-post Riley's and the group's theme? Oh, and guys, you know how I'm the guy who usually comes up with a fun DT poll or question to answer? Well, here's the next one. In honour of family history, share one interesting thing about your bloodline. My two points will be up soon.

@Verser Fixed. Go check it out again, working now :D
@AstralHunter Right. ...Right... *remembers first SB* Yeah, I see what you mean. But I already apologize, so don't worry. I CAN be careful with my words sometimes :)
And thanks a ton, though unfortunately not everyone thinks like that. It's just a good thing for you guys to remind me that they're not everywhere.
...And the blue skin part made me think of Interstella 5555, actually...
And di you and @Charizard821 read the latest posts? Verser and 15253 did AMAZING jobs, and I managed to do what I wanted. AKA hug Hoopa. Which was fun.
@Charizard821 ...A prequel? Well then...
I'M RESERVING SMEARGLE. I'M STAYING TOO.

One interesting thing about my bloodline? Well... I guess I'll go with: both of my parents were involved into wars, and both survived in very different ways.
1: my mother was 8 when her house and neighborhood were used as a battleground. Impacts of random bullets would go through her living room (that she'd try to go to in order to reach the toilet, or so she says). She had to flee her country and escape to France because her father was basically a 5 languages-talkin' spy who needed to shut his mouth. Which he did in France.
2: At around 22, my father was ALSO involved in a war as a helicopter pilot. His whole unit was shot down, and so was he, yet he was the only one to survive. He walked for about 5 days without eating to come back to his country. But since they believed he was dead, he decided to get the heck outta there.
ironically enough, he always wanted me to avoid anything related to war and shooting stuff. And yet I'm an ace 3rd person shooter in various online games (one of which beain' SD Gundam), and I'm good at Shoot'em ups.

That irony XD

I actually already have a possible sequel planned. If I'm to become the king of storybooks, I must work diligently. On top of a sequal, I also have a fantasy and sci fi themed storybook in the works. And maybe I might even retry Ghazi. In its current form, it's not the masterpiece I was hoping for.

@Verser: Nice try - I'm a fraternal twin. :P We share almost nothing in common though. XD. Therefore, I think that counts, although I'm pretty sure @15253 is going to have one less thing to talk about. :P.

@AstralHunter: Yeah, I feel the same way. I was gone all of Saturday and most of Sunday, and I come back to find 13 notifications and 11 new posts. Honestly, that drives me crazy. XD. Therefore, I shall do swift work to catch up with the latest sets of posts and respond as necessary. Besides, it's fun to look at all the latest posts and see what interesting information comes up. I hope that didn't make me look like a stalker. :P

Oooh, you're a Cancer? I'd tell you what my symbol is, but I think that reveals my birthdate, and I'm as shut up with my personal information as my brother is with his Legendary Pokémon collection (i.e. nice try getting anything out of me. XD) I used to think I was an Aries, but it turns out I'm not (all the better - it reminds me of my former dog. :C ).

Some competitive fighting between the NO and Resistance would make things interesting. It'd be a lot of fun to see two opposing sides have at each other. Would they be sour? It all depends on what the purpose is. If they're fighting for the Plates, there's going to be some bad blood and a whole lot of sourness. If they're fighting just for the sake of it, I don't think they'd have any problems with one another. I've studied the American Civil War, World War II, The Revolutionary War, The War of 1812, World War I, etc., and I've found so many cases where opposing sides have had fun with one another, and had not been bitter. There were dances, celebrations, festivals...all that good stuff. :D Call me a history nerd (Although I prefer the term 'buff' :P ), but it's true. Therefore, if they're fighting to see their skills, I don't think there'd be any bad blood in it.

I'll keep the jinxing thing in mind, and refrain from using it. 2.1%? My goodness...I didn't even know there were that many SB's, not to mention so few that were actually accomplished. O_O. I'm going to stay - there's no doubt in my mind otherwise. I've never had so much fun in a long time, and I've never been so eager to contribute to such a fun cause before. I'm staying for a long time, if that's all the same to you. Besides, if it ever comes to a Double-Trouble Writing Huddle, I'm a firecracker of ideas, thoughts, and a master of composing dramatic writing, so you have nothing to fear story-wise. :D

Oh, the date system? Hmm...where can I find it? Aegeas's adventures take place several days before the meeting, and it'd be super helpful to apply the dating system so that I can accurately pinpoint his adventures and tie everything together. I remember the last website I used to go onto; we had so many stories, but when we applied a dating system, all heck broke lose. One person had a story featured about 40 years before that character was born, etc. XD. From then on, it was just a haze of story dates, as we gave up on the idea. As I'm a perfectionist with not much respect for chaos, which I partially found out from that incident, this date system will be mighty helpful. Thanks for telling me, AstralHunter! :D

@Charizard821: The group prequel idea sounds awesome! I'd definitely be interested in joining the prequel after we finish PMDSPA. In the part that I'm planning on posting today, I've planned for a long time to incorporate some sort of memories of the previous war. It's going to be a tearjerker, but now that I know that there is interest in creating a prequel, it makes all the more sense for me to display it.

Oooh, a bloodline fact? I've got a lot. :D

1. My great-great-great grandfather served as a union solider in the American Civil War. When he was wounded, he and a friend were greeted in their tent by the 16th president of the United States - Abraham Lincoln. He offered them land in a specific place (which I will not state lest my identity be exposed (don't ask). They accepted, got some land there, and lived on it. I think my 3rd-great grandfather lost the ability to use his arm (or was it his leg? Between the two of them, the war cost an arm and a leg (pun intended. :P)

2. My great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather (on the other side of the family) was born in London in 1697. He moved to Boston in 1723, where he became a successful Bostonian merchant and tailor, up to the point where he served in the Massachusetts Convention, met John Hancock, Samuel Adams, and had a small correspondence with Benjamin Franklin. In 1717, four Lodges of the society of Freemasonry joined to form the Grand Lodge of England. They appointed him the Provincial Master of New England (the first), and, in 1733, in St. Johns Tavern in Boston, he founded, along with several other people, the first chartered Masonic lodge in America, beginning the long-standing history of Masonic influence on the continent (though many masons had come before him, organized Freemasonry largely began with his efforts). This man, Major Henry Price, lived for 83 years, and died in 1780 of an axe-wound. Though not an ardent supporter of American independence, he sympathized with them and is honored on a grave at Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

Oh, and good luck trying to find my name. :P. I bear neither my 3rd nor my 6th great-grandfather's last names. Major Henry Price married 3 times, and my family line extends a very long distance from his. Still, you can look him up and find him on numerous sites, and even see some of the artifacts that he had (you can find many at the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, which he founded). This is the reason why I've disclosed his name - he's such a known figure that you are likely to find him whether I tell you his name or not, though he was appointed a Major only in 1733.

Well, that's about it. I talked myself silly, so I think I'll refrain from further conversation for now. See you around!
S'io credesse che mia risposta fosse

questa fiamma staria senza piu scosse.
Ma per ciò che giammai di questo fondo
non tornò vivo alcun, s'i' odo il vero,
senza tema d'infamia ti rispondo.

I'm sayin' this generally, but... Wasn't competitive fighting between NO and Resistance planned from the beginning? With the introduction of Alek and his friends, and all? I had a plan for that since Riley fought Gabriel at Frostpoint anyway, and I thought pretty much everyone wanted to use this neutral colosseum as a neutral testing ground for both sides. I wanted to anyway, and I'll reference it in my next post - which is one of the reason why I needed to hug Hoopa in the first place.
That aside, I'm Aquarius as a Zodiac sign and a Metal Rat as my Chinese one. Is that why I love watery/scale-enhanced creatures so much? Dunno.

And darn, Silver, you sure had fun with those bloodline facts XD It's fun to read how people can eet really famous figures though, I always find this so ironic.

Wow, these family histories are awesome! Makes what I'm about to say sound slightly lame.

1: Though it is not confirmed, on my father's side, it is believed in my family that we are actually Jewish, despite not living by that religion. Why is that? Well, back in WW2, my father tells me that my family on his side has no record of a last name, or a name that doesn't exist. He says it is very possible that to avoid concentration, my family changed their names, hid their religion and fled where they resided. I think it's cool because if they hadn't done that, I may not be here, and also the fact that my religion may actually supposed to have been different than the way I grew up.

2: My mother's maiden name, which I will not reveal, has a VERY cool backstory. Basically, her maiden last name was a name that could be directly related to a slightly larger version of said name. Either way, the maiden name itself is important, because it is known that in Germany, anyone bearing that last name was royalty. Upon searching, we discovered a family with a VERY SIMILAR last name, extended by only three letters, that was a group of famous royals with a crest and everything. In short, it is a very real possibility that I am of royal blood. (Hunter, this is where you realize you've been duped. I'm not a prince, but the above fact may actually be true.)

What do you guys think?
