In all seriousness though. I don't mind playing a guy but just feel that women make better eccentrics, don't you think? The thing is I have no idea how she get's on the ship. Eccentric stowaway maybe? Could make for an interesting character.

The date on which our story starts will be December 23rd, dawn - 24 hours after Evangeline sailed off. It's your choice whether you're just departing now or if you've started following it during the night or day before.

Also, an important thing is that sailing isn't teleportation - we won't be everywhere in matter of hours. This means that there will be times in the SB when we'll have to skip or cover days on end in one or two posts (each), and I hope that'll go smoothly.
Title your posts with position and name of the character, place they're at and the date (Cassander Gyles, captain of the Evangeline | his quarters | December 23).

Omni - your character would've probably known the captain since he was little (Cass was pretty literally born on Evangeline, although she wasn't named so back then), we could work something up with that :3

How did the Evangeline end up as a ghost ship in the first place?

"Officially", because on one of their journeys, they stole some cursed treasure and now have to repay the debt by sending souls to the sort of demon of the ocean whom they stole it from.
Actually, it was way more the captain's fault, but he doesn't exactly want his crew to know that xP
