The problem I see here is no on is really playing an antagonist.

Avalon... we have a bunch of teens in a school, trust me there WILL be antagonizing.

It's more interesting if the antagonist is something one becomes, not something one enters as.

If the story began immediately with Save The World conflict, we wouldn't have a chance to meld together. It's bad storytelling. Be patient.

Antagonism will happen, we just have to start getting the characters interacting with one another and it'll fall into place.
