The Road of the Cross

I did this one quite quickly, so it isn't very good quality

I raise a white flag to be free
From the sin that has infected me.
I lift my eyes up to Heaven
And understand the grace that He has given.

I follow the road of the cross.
Carrying it, I follow no matter what the cost.
Foolish to some, I still continue on
Knowing that this is not where I belong.

Heaven awaits as a beautiful reward
And that is what I am striving for.
At the end of the race I will see
The beauty and splendor of Christ's majesty

Life

From the start our lives
Were insignificant, small
They end no different.

Road - smooth rhymes!
Life - maybe instead of "small" you can say "though" so you have a smoother transition(?) but yay for haikus! Well done ^^ I want to see more of your poems :O still lots of time to catch up!
