Ainsley Dean

Return to The Harbinger Syndrome

Creator: JazzElectrobass
Roleplay: The Harbinger Syndrome
Nickname: Ain, Dean

Name: Ainsley "Ain" "Dean" Dean
Age: 16
Pronouns: He/Him/She/Her (Genderfluid)
Sexual/Romantic Orientation: Bisexual

Personality: He's mischievous and he jokes around often. He enjoys playing pranks that range from tying shoelaces together to flaming poo. He's very cheerful and seemingly carefree. He acts more childish than his own age having not had a role model in his life, no one to give him that nudge to grow up. He also has an excellent poker face.
Appearance: Short black hair dyed with neon yellow highlights, slightly pale skin, sharp facial features, with brown and hazel eyes (Heterochromia). He's scrawny and about 5 ft. His clothes look like he took very vibrant paint and splashed it everywhere. He wears jeans, t-shirt, jacket, and shoes all in different blends of colors.

Ability: Sand
Ability Strengths: He's able to get sand to reach a velocity to where it's fast enough to cause nicks and scratches.
Ability Weaknesses: He's not very precise. He can make it go in a direction, but it sort of just sprays everywhere in that direction, so he'd most likely hit both friend and foe.

History: He's the kind of foster kid that ends up moving around often. He has meager belongings, but his most precious is his art supplies. He would paint, draw, whatever to go to his happy place. He started with forcing himself to use humor to avoid certain subjects, but as time went on it became more of a habit to use humor around touchous topics. He used humor to avoid getting his head stuck in a toilet, and kids hung around him. They didn't like him, they just laughed at his jokes. He has some memories of his parents; no good ones stand out though, and he does his best to forget.
Where were you during Quarantine?: He was painting on a wall, one that conveniently was inside the walls. The person who had ask for this commission was watching, intrigued with how he painted. FEDRA agents eventually found them and Ainsley refused to go along, resulting in his temporary incapacitation. Once he's able to, he visits that wall. He visits it often, looking at his unfinished work while thinking.
What is your stance towards FEDRA?: Oh, he despises them. Not as much as most, but still. He lost his set of art supplies that had helped him through many tough times. They might be the same brand in every store that has an art section, but they're irreplaceable.

Other: He has entomophobia, the fear of bugs.

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living; the world owes you nothing; it was here first.
