In 2042, a bill was passed. This bill put into law the Associative Punishment Proposal.

Long gone are the days when a criminal was solely held responsible for her deeds, now their mother's, fathers, wives and husbands join them in prison cells and upon the cutting block.

After the initial upheaval which lasted five years parents wizened up, particularly in regards to raising their sona. No longer did they mutilate their sons at birth, no longer did they beat them as punishment. They began to treat them with the same compassion they did daughters. To their daughters they instilled the knowledge of selecting a good husband based on merit not on lust. And so crime almost ceased to exist as the two causes of violent men coming into existence, childhood abuse and the reward of women's affection, ceased to exist.

But every now and then a child slips through the cracks. This is her story.
